The little octopus studies JS for a few seconds. But instead of answering JS' question, it only makes a strange electronic sound. Then its body turns transparent and melts down into a red stream of data that eventually flows into the Gameboy Bible in JS' hands,

"Hey! What are you doing?" JS shakes the game console and cries, "Don't break my precious gear!"

"Saint, the trial world has been invaded. Please go to the core area of this world and take the fragment key as quickly as possible." A red exclamation mark is flickering on the screen of the Gameboy Bible.

JS looks at the screen and gets annoyed, "Where is the core area? Can't you just tell me exactly where it is? Huh?"

At this moment, something is happening in front of a church-like building that draws his attention.

A vortex of blue and white light spots keeps swirling and expanding into a thing that JS looks quite familiar with. 

"A portal?"

Two people step out of it.

One of them is Joo who just left this place a while ago. She is still with her magical motorbike. And the other person is a gentleman wearing glasses. He has a laptop bag in his hand which makes him look like an IT guy going to work.

"Hi! Joo! You are back!" JS is so glad to see her again in this strange world.

Joo smiles and waves at JS, "I'm so relieved that you are still okay. Well, this is the teammate I told you about earlier. You can call him Jacobs."

"Hello, Jacobs. Right, Joo, I haven't completed the trial but I think I've made some progress," says JS with excitement. "And I just defeated a rare monster that had its own lines. Look, it's over there."

Joo is pleased to see that JS is so optimistic. But the next second, her look turns serious as she sees the creepy remains of the purple-skinned monster that has Beaugosse's head.

"The Bubble Gang is here already. Jacobs, switch to battle mode."

Jacobs immediately takes action while JS is entirely shocked by his transformation.

He takes out a piece of thing covered with shiny metal bars from his laptop bag. With a few clicks, he pulls it open, and then quickly folds and assembles it into a peculiarly shaped gun.

The barrel of that gun is very thick, and its structure is closer to that of a grenade gun. What is peculiar is that there is a translucent jellyfish the size of an adult's fist attached to the gun with its tentacles connecting to the weapon. The jellyfish is expanding and contracting regularly as if it is alive.

Jacobs' glasses also turn into a pair of special goggles that covers most of his face. On the blue lenses, there are tiny numbers, formulas and other data streams flashing by.

What shocks JS the most is that Jacobs' exposed skin, like on his face, neck, and arms, has turned light blue, which makes him less like a human being.

"Wow! This is pretty damn cool!"

Who would expect a gentle programmer wearing glasses could turn into the Terminator in a second?

"JS, stay alert."

JS turns to look at Joo. She is also fully armed with her motorbike transformed into a huge robot cat. Not only has her skin changed its color into that unique light blue, but her black hair has turned fluorescent green that smoothly goes bright and dark as if it were breathing. And Joo's eye pupils are now almond-shaped like that of carnivores.

In addition, Joo is holding a red club that JS has no clue where she took it out, and electric sparks flicker on that club from time to time.

"Huh? But I think I've killed this guy, haven't I?" JS scratches his head, not knowing why they are so nervous.

"This thing is just one of the clones of that guy. Next time there will be not one but ten or even a hundred clones of his. It is a very disgusting ability."

Just as she is speaking, Joo sees several small black dots appearing in the distant sky. They are exactly some Beaugosse's clones that are approaching fast.

"씨발! We are going to catch some big fish!" Beaugosse is so excited to see the two blue-skinned figures on the ground that he can't help exclaiming in Korean, "Both of those two Hipsters are here!"

Without any hesitation, the five clones spread out their metal wings and launch all the feather missiles at the same time as soon as they arrive.

Nearly a hundred feather missiles are coming at JS and the other two, like a heavy rain showering down.

"Come and hide behind me." JS opens his huge metal hands, hoping to shield themselves from the bombing. He has seen the power of these feather missiles before.

Joo giggles, "It's okay. Jacobs will take care of them."

Jacobs calmly raises his gun and pulls the trigger. JS sees some red smoke puffed inside the translucent body of the jellyfish. And as the jellyfish contracts, the smoke is injected into the gun through the jellyfish's tentacles.

Bang!

Instead of an ordinary bullet, a small red jellyfish is shot out of his gun. In mid-air, the small red jellyfish explodes into a large cloud of red smoke.

The moment the feather missiles are exposed to the red smoke, they are detonated in the air. Just like this, most of the feather missiles are easily dealt with by Jacobs.

And in flickering spots of light, Joo instantly teleports herself to midair. She waves her red club and hits three of the nearest feather missiles one by one.

The feather missiles hit by her suddenly disappear and then reappear behind the three clones of Beaugosse in the next moment. With violent explosions, the three clones are destroyed by the feather missiles launched by themselves.

Jacobs calmly aims at the rest of Beaugosse's clones and fires two blue jellyfish bullets one after another. Dazzling electric light bursts out, and the strong current blasts the two clones to pieces.

In just a few seconds, Joo and Jacobs finish the bitter battle that JS thought he would fall into.

"Wow, you guys are amazing," JS exclaims. He is very interested in the little jellyfish on Jacobs' gun, so he asks, "This little thing looks very much like the one that slipped into my Gameboy Bible just now. What exactly is it?"

Joo and Jacobs look at each other, and Joo nods at JS with delight, "That's great. It seems that you have been approved by the guardian. Jacobs, can you tell him more?"

Jacobs touches the jellyfish on his gun and it floats to his palm, "This is the guardian of the trial that I have completed. But the jellyfish is not his original form. If described in the language of science, it is a special information life form generated with alien biotechnology on the basis of the guardian's digitized soul."

JS strokes his beard and says with hesitation, "Uh, I'm just a down-and-out street artist, and I don't know much about information technology..."

"To put it simply, the guardian can enhance our superpowers. For example, this jellyfish of mine is equivalent to a magazine that can quickly switch bullets with different functions."

"Ah, now I know what you are talking about. A little octopus ran into my Gameboy Bible not long ago. Now it is showing a map for me on the screen. But I don't quite understand it, can you help me take a look at it?" JS shows the screen of the Gameboy Bible to the other two.

Meanwhile, at the palace's ruins in the trial world's core area, five feather monitors showing the vision of Beaugosse's clones disappear. That is to say, five of his clones have been destroyed.

Queen and K are looking at Beaugosse who is rather embarrassed.

"Well, I wasn't fully engaged in the battle, Your Majesty," says Beaugosse through his gritted teeth, "I've sent all the rest of my clones to hunt down those damned Hipsters."

Queen thinks for a while, then she stands up and says, "We shouldn't lose any more of our forces. Let's go together to eliminate those Hipsters once and for all."
