“masterpiece” was my aunt jackie’s favorite song. she unfortunately passed last week, and the grief rocked me pretty hard. she was the person who taught me music theory and how to pla the piano, outside of my being my aunt and Godmother. she was so excited to hear “Chrysalis”, and i’m dedicating not only this video to her on her birthday, but the drive and passion that will go into this album.

i couldn’t think of any better way to get the ball rolling on this next chapter than with a tribute to her.
