I’ve made my way to (and through!) Lesson 7 of the Learn Blockchain, Solidity, and Full Stack Web3 Development with JavaScript – 32-Hour Course by Patrick Collins which is the Hardhat FundMe lesson. Below is a list of things I have learned and discovered through this particular lesson.
It’s kind of blowing my mind how many different packages, configuration files, etc. you need to make this kind of stuff work. No wonder there’s a shortage of people who can do this kind of work. I’m not an idiot by any means and the “barrier to entry” seems really high. Without this kind of course, I can’t even fathom how someone would actually get started without a huge time commitment.
Not sure if it is just the vibe of today or the lesson or something else, but I just wasn’t feeling this at all today. I got through it, but it wasn’t nearly as exciting or as fun as all of the previous lessons were
