I’ve made my way to (and through!) Lesson 7 of the Learn Blockchain, Solidity, and Full Stack Web3 Development with JavaScript – 32-Hour Course by Patrick Collins which is the Hardhat FundMe lesson. Below is a list of things I have learned and discovered through this particular lesson.

• It’s kind of blowing my mind how many different packages, configuration files, etc. you need to make this kind of stuff work. No wonder there’s a shortage of people who can do this kind of work. I’m not an idiot by any means and the “barrier to entry” seems really high. Without this kind of course, I can’t even fathom how someone would actually get started without a huge time commitment.

• Not sure if it is just the vibe of today or the lesson or something else, but I just wasn’t feeling this at all today. I got through it, but it wasn’t nearly as exciting or as fun as all of the previous lessons were

• This is just a reminder that everything isn’t always sunshine and rainbows
