Towards a New Standard in Computer Vision at Synthetaic

Synthetaic just raised a $13m Series A for their Rapid Automatic Image Categorization (RAIC) computer vision solution. Let’s check it out!

Synthetaic is “on a mission to unlock impossible AI for all.” They are taking computer vision to the next level with RAIC technology they say can detect ANYTHING, even rare objects, instantly. Synthetaic explains, “RAIC can analyze large unstructured multidimensional datasets, from color images to SAR, with just a few minutes of human interaction.”

With a single image, Synthetaic’s RAIC can build a fully interactive visualization. This allows non-technical teams to build and run AI detection models in under five minutes with no data labeling required. This allows customers to “transcend data limitations” caused by sample islands and minimal starter data by providing high-fidelity, multidimensional synthetic data including geospatial, image, and full motion video.

So far the applications are pretty cool!

AFWERX is using RAIC to help the United States Air Force with anomaly detection:

National Geographic is building an AI conservation platform that identifies and detects poachers through rare object detection to help save the Sumatran Rhino:

University of Michigan Medical School is leveraging Synthetaic’s synthetic data for brain tumor classification:

Synthetaic is tackling the biggest problems today across all verticals with time saving, cost reducing, user-friendly RAIC.

This is the future of "impossible AI for all."

And they’re hiring!
