Mission / Vision and other Ideas
This week was pretty slow on the mission / vision front .
As we are still waiting for @tolis masterclass in everything Web3 - @jonromero proposed to share his email course with the KaramelaDAO as another project that could generate revenue and marketing exposure.

Governance / Citizenship / Logistics
In the recent community call of Dec 22th we had our first discussion around project management and what would be a good process to decide how projects will be run going forward. It was universally agreed that as we get more into projects it would be a good idea to have some structure around what needs to be done, how long is it going to take, how much is it going to cost, who is responsible for what etc.
We also need to have someone who will help coordinate everyone and also be the point of contact when DAO citizens have questions about the project.
We can think of this person like the ‘maestro’ - someone who can guide a group of super talented people achieve incredible results!
The same applies for proposals. Proposals need to have a certain structure in order to be eligible to be submitted for voting.
For example, every proposal needs to have a lead and a small business plan, i.e. estimated revenues, costs, human resources etc.
It also needs to include deliverables, timelines and deadlines so they can be easily followed by everyone in the community.
Also we agreed that a summary of any proposal should be submitted to appropriate discord channel to gauge interest before going into the official voting process.**

Finally, a special thanks to @BigManDrewskii for proposing the first guidelines around branding, logos and typography! This is important as the bigger the KaramelaDAO gets the more we want to have an image that is consistent across all mediums - inside and outside the metaverse!

The website is the first KaramelaDAO project that follows the above guidelines around project management. @CryptoPablo volunteered to lead the management of the website design and we now have concrete deliverables and a timeline of when our official site will be up! Great job maestro!

KaramelaDAO’s first official proposal! What’s Next?
KaramelaDAO first proposal was a huge SUCCESS!
A total of seven people voted and it was unanimously agreed to move forward with giving temporary voting rights to every POAP holder!
This means that going forward you need to attend the community calls and claim your POAP in order to be able to vote on the KaramelaDAO proposals! So don’t forget to claim those POAPs!
Heard on the Sweet Sweet DAO
This week John Hasso introduced his upcoming NFT collection the DAO.
Him and his friends - all game designers are the masterminds behind LilSnowies - a collection of 10,000 unique snowies generated by code with cute traits.
He volunteered to airdrop some of his NFT collection - LilSnowies - to the members of the KaramelaDAO! This is really sweet - thank you John Hasso!
It’s amazing to see some of the members already diving deep into Web3 and getting their hands ‘dirty’!

What we basically wanted to do is give a small Christmas Gift from our end to all the citizens and participants of our DAO 🙂 We wanted to give you a free NFT Lil' Snowy!
Apart from the fact that it's Christmas and it's nice to give gifts (which we love :D) we also would like to do that to encourage you to:
- Explore how to make a wallet
- What is an NFT mint and how to do it
- What is an Airdrop (spoiler alert not the Apple term 😄 )
- What it means to own an NFT at an early stage
- How you can trade and what you can do with an NFT with some tokenomics tied to it.
- Create an educational and feedback discussion for all of us in the DAO 🙂
Lil Snowies started as our foundation to explore the NFT space but as a small intro to what is coming. We're happy to gift these NFTs to all the members and spread some joy, education and creative discussions around this Christmas!”
