COD (consume, obey, die)

everything in our daily lives can be a subject of criticism. especially our rituals, which have become normalized in our daily routines, constitute the starting point of this project.

COD
COD

"consume, obey, die" within the system, a critical approach to our daily routines and daily habits.

consume
consume

consume: cycle.. eat, drink, sleep, wake up.. every day.. besides tangible things, the consumption of many abstract things are now a part of us.. consumption is now more than a need. the consumer has transformed the consumed things into a means of display.. therefore; individual reflects his/her self to the outside world through consumption. the individual's understanding of consumption exhibits his lifestyle. our lifestyle.. the life we are used to.. consume..

obey
obey

obey: obeying orders, acting according to orders, being subject to someone.. especially "to obey willingly, to obey voluntarily, to do it voluntarily, to accept" this is our lifestyle.. the life we are used to. obey..

die
die

die: at the end of the day, the inevitable... death... physical death. what if our souls or consciousness also die? Is death something serious? has life-centered life pushed death into the background? Is everyone's strongest dream, immortality? physical immortality, social immortality? which one ? what if we are going to die at the end of the day, what does this much consumption and obedience promise us? will our lifestyle remain after we die? the life we are used to?

creature
creature

creature: creature was not born in a day.. it was shaped every day, every day it was born a different person from the day before..  and the creature is free compared the others.. but it paid a heavy price for that.. it knows pain and sorrow.. and it's never the same again.. this is the lifestyle we are not used to..

doubt
doubt

doubt: “doubt everything and find your own light”
_our greatest fears begin with doubt.
_doubt is also a ‘thekey’ for the truth to come to light.
_’COD’ paid a heavy price to learn this and regained its final form.

orisons
orisons

orisons: there were some regulars in the universe who are content to wait for everything. ‘orisons’ without the slightest effect on progress. they had the highest hopes.. because they believed that anything they couldn't achieve would happen if they could be good ‘creature’.. but what they didn't know was that being a creature meant a mournful process.

betrayal
betrayal

‘COD’ cares about one’s purest and at the same time ugliest feelings.. these emotions have been guiding individuals and societies since the day "creature" existed. although these emotions have existed from the beginning(origin), they are quite fragile structures.

betrayal: ‘betrayal’ destroyed everything.. everything creature ever created.. ‘creature’ did it in decades, ‘betrayal’ did it in 1 day. was this the ‘creature's greatest test? or does it exist? all the feelings that had existed from the beginning were destroyed by this 'betrayal'. but that's how 'creature' came into existence.

devotion
devotion

devotion: one of our basic motives is belonging.. to a person, place, institution.. or intangible. some of us find themselves in this way.. reasons for living, dreams, goals - it all comes about because of this commitment.

'devotion' is dedicated to the ‘creature’

so why ? - to be him? to reach him? to gain access to that identity?

_no one will know the ultimate purpose. because 'devotion' can be anyone.. anyone seeking.. anyone in the void.. in limbo!
