Scratching The ICHI: Single Sided Deposits on Kim

Well, well, well. Here we are again, anon. And this time, we’re delivering a highly requested feature, especially for those of us who either:

  • Can’t wrap our heads around the fact providing liquidity requires two tokens (it took me three years, but I’m just the copywriter, not the dev, dw)

  • Cannot be bothered to swap something into another token to provide liquidity

If you’ve been looking to scratch that ICHI for providing single sided liquidity on Kim, and thus avoiding the aforementioned physical and mental barriers, then this one is for you, kid.

Today, we integrate ICHI directly into the Kim UI.

What is ICHI?

It’s not a mosquito bite. And it won’t go away if you scratch it.

ICHI has built two protocols using factory contracts; Yield IQ Vaults (auto-liquidity management) and Branded Dollars (stablecoins for any community).

The former of those protocols, Yield IQ Vaults, will be integrated directly into Kim. With just a few clicks you’ll be depositing liquidity with a single asset and, yes, that liquidity will be magically managed by super duper smart contracts.

Yield IQ is a concentrated liquidity provision algorithm that generates compelling returns with a simple and painless user experience. Users deposit a single token and earn passive returns while the algorithm actively accumulates your preferred token and earns fees.

How to Scratch It (Guide)

So, you wanna provide single-sided liquidity, huh? Get a nice slice of those F A T rewards?

You can identify the single-sided ICHI pools on Kim by the ICHI logo and name attached beside the asset pairings.

Head to the Pools section of Kim, use the filter on the right to filter for ICHI pools that support single-sided deposits.

Make sure you’ve got at least one of those assets in the pair, click through, and deposit.

Voila. Easy as that.

Say gm to ICHI

With the ICHI integration, you’ll be able to enjoy the astronomically high APRs you’re used to with Kim, but this time, the only thing you’ll need is a single token (well, you’ll probably do better if you have multiple of the same token but what I’m saying is you just need a single side of the asset pair to provide liquidity here.
