“ The Empire, long divided, must unite. Long united, must divide. Thus it has ever been.”
So, Romance of the Three Kingdoms begins, and with it, the tale of Kingdom Story: Heroes War. A tale of a nation in turmoil, full of treachery, betrayal, courage, love, and loyalty.
It had been over 400 years since the beginning of the Empire of Han. Though, these times would not last. It would be Emperor Xian’s hands from which the Kingdom would be divided into three parts, and The Three Kingdoms story would become legend.
However, it was Emperors Huan and Ling that had caused the Han Kingdom to decline. They gave too much power to the Palace eunuchs paying no heed to the good people of the royal court. Many omens were sent from the heavens, but Emperor Ling did not change his ways, and the eunuchs grew stronger. The evils of the eunuchs would cause much unhappiness.
In 184, a terrible plague gripped the land. A Taoist master, Zhang Jue, and his brothers would travel around, aiding the common people with medicines and godly remedies. It wouldn’t be long before Zhang Jue would amass a large following. Many people became his disciples. He began to dream of an Empire and hoped to find favor with the eunuchs. The eunuchs would betray him and reject his request. Unhappy, Zhang Jue and his disciples would pick up arms, tying yellow scarves around their heads. Their uprising would become known as the Yellow Turban Rebellion.
Overpowering many of the armies the Yellow Turbans came against, a notice calling for volunteers to fight was put out, and many would answer.
Kingdom Story: Heroes War begins with the Yellow Turban Rebellion, and you are a General building an army to fight for land and country.
A Nation Divided
Many warlords competed for power when the Yellow Turban Rebellion broke out, and the Han Dynasty’s authority collapsed. The Three Kingdoms Period began in the third century following the end of the Han Empire. It began in 220 with the Cao Wei dynasty and ended in 280 with the fall of the Eastern Wu.

Cao Wei (220-265)
Cao Wei was founded in 220 by Cao Pi, Cao Cao’s third son. He became emperor after usurping the throne from Emperor Xian, the last emperor of the Han Dynasty. The color blue and a Chinese phoenix symbolize the country. It was the most powerful dynasty occupying vast northern and western territories.

Shu Han (221–263)
Liu Bei, a distant relative of the Han royal family, founded Shu Han. But the kingdom is often referred to as Shu. The kingdom is symbolized by the color green and a Chinese dragon as a reference to Qinglong. Following Cao Pi’s usurpation of the throne, Liu Bei proclaimed himself emperor, renewing the Han Dynasty.

Eastern Wu (222–280)
Sun Jian of the late Han is the founder of Eastern Wu. Sun Jian gained power by defeating Dong Zhuo. The country is symbolized by red and a tiger (especially with the Sun family’s motif). Following his death, his eldest son, Sun Ce, conquered numerous armies east of the Jang River and expanded his power but was killed by an assassin at age 26. Sun Ce’s younger brother Sun Quan would be established emperor.

Kingdom Story: Heroes War is a Strategy Development NFT RPG. Players can collect and develop more than 300 Generals from the Three Kingdoms lore, minting them into NFTs.
Build an army, unify ancient China, and write your name in legend!
- Generals
Build a deck of Generals and take them into battle to conquer the land and quell the rebellion.
A battle deck consists of six generals; by combining different attributes (i.e., Nations and Classes), players can unlock special effects and defeat more formidable forces.
- Classes
Classes determine what position your Generals take on the battlefield. They can also be combined to boost base team stats.
Bowmaster
A ranged attacker that uses a bow and arrow to deal direct or wide-area splash damage.
Marshal
Proficient in short and medium ranges, they often wait for the best time to attack. But don’t deploy at the rare as they’re unable to attack
Monarch
Giving support to the entire army, they’re supreme generals.
Strategist
Masters of deception and trickery use their wits to attack and confuse the enemy while protecting allies.
Warrior
The first line of defense, tanking most of the damage. These generals are mighty but unable to attack beyond close-range combat.
Roadmap
