Kleoverse is building the Web3 Talent Platform with Proof-of-Talent to help builders verify skills on-chain, build web3 portfolios, and find web3 jobs. Web3 companies can post jobs, boost them with referral bounties, and hire talented blockchain developers.

Summary

We kicked off the new year with a blast by releasing Kleoverse-Lens integration, with a follower graph integration and a native sharing of Kleoverse profiles and Proof-of-Talent skills. We believe social features are fundamental for our Web3 Talent Platform, and we will continue adding further Lens-related functionality and integrating with other social protocols during the upcoming months.

We continued our rapid user growth and crossed both 50,000 signed-up users and 20,000 Proof-of-Talent badge holders. We also onboarded a handful of industry-leading organizations to hire web3 developers on Kleoverse.

Even though big web3 organizations conducted massive layoffs, we continue seeing many web3 startups investing in product development and distribution. We haven’t seen a decrease in the demand for skilled web3 developers – in fact, we believe the tough market environment nothing but highlights the need for skills-based hiring with Proof-of-Talent.

Highlights of January

• Releasing our Lens integration with native sharing of achievements and Proof-of-Talent skill scores

• Revision of follower discovery with integrations to Lens and Twitter

• Crossing 50,000 signed-up users (8% MoM) and 20,000 Proof-of-Talent badge holders (11% MoM)

• Onboarding industry-leading organizations like Gnosis and Mighty Bear Games to hire developers on Kleoverse

• Crowdsourcing a database of +100 people affected by tech layoffs of companies like Coinbase, Crypto.com, and Blockchain.com

Learnings of January

• Leveraging our community is the best way for bootstrapping our network and generating the best possible matches in the marketplace

• Job market is generally very tough with big layoffs from large companies, but we haven’t seen the need for web3 developers affected
