“Momiji? What Momiji?”

Momiji is a Boba-adapted fork of the CoW protocol, designed by Gnosis.

CoW protocol allows you to swap assets (MEV protected) at the best exchange rate. Read more here.

It serves the purpose of providing users with a gasless and aggregated swap mechanism. Instead of paying directly for a trade, users can instead approve their sale asset(s), once in the beginning.

Once users approve the asset, they can start trading simply by signing messages, thus, no gas fee!

One important thing to remember about this innovative way of trading is that the price of users’ trading is subtracted from the number of their selling tokens.

At the time this blog is written, Kōyō Momiji supports the following DEXes: Kōyō Finance, OolongSwap, and Gin Finance. Not only that, in the future, users that lock KYO for veKYO and (or) BOBA for veBOBA will be able to get discounted gas fees, woohoo!

Lastly, please note that until an order is executed, users will not be able to see its progress on the blockchain explorer; you will need to use Momiji Explorer.
