BetaMars:Hi I'm Rebecca from BetaMars. Our team aims to build a free and open metaverse world. Hopefully after this AMA you'll get to know BetaMars.
A:BetaMars is an innovative metaverse game project. In order to realize the vision of a highly free, open and decentralized metaverse world, our team divided the game construction into two main stages: BetaMars 1.0 and BetaMars 2.0.
BetaMars 1.0 is a strong mode innovative Defi project that introduces strategic gameplay. In order to highlight the game attribute of the project, a beautiful game scene and interesting gameplays are integrated for it. Different from the traditional Defi mine-to-sell model, BetaMars 1.0 has more factors that affect the output. In the game, there are two identities, Lords and Miners.
By playing games and formulating strategies, they can seize different BetaMars ecological resources. For the overall ecosystem of the project, BetaMars 1.0 is the stage of rapidly accumulating original core users, and it is also the easiest stage for users to earn tokens from the project. At present, we have completed all three round tests and will be officially launched in June.
BetaMars 2.0 is an open-world MMOP game with rich game playability, where you can freely explore the world with your friends. 2.0 will inherit the land system of 1.0. In 2.0, the Lord's land will have simulated management gameplay.
Also, because of the fixed and unique land coordinate and totally personal land assets, city-states or countries will be formed on the basis of the lands by players voluntarily. Thus, the confrontation and cooperation will upgrade accordingly.
For Miners, they will continue to explore the BetaMars world as natives and mercenaries. In 2.0, the official plan is to use 1.0 accumulated funds and 2.0 new funds to purchase BTC hashrate, and the mining profits will be rewarded to game players after each game season ends.
Innovative gambling model and continuously updated strategy combinations are the core advantages of BetaMars 1.0.Currently, the market is crowded with various crypto games, but there are very few high-quality games of gambling between players. We have designed a rich set of gameplay in 1.0.
Exploitation, Tax and Revolution. Through the three gameplays, players are forced to seize more profits by confrontation and cooperation. The most anticipated thing in our game is the random update of the game strategy. Our game strategy is not determined by the system, but will evolve with the development of the BetaMars world, the number of players, the ratio of Lords and Miners and other factors. The strategy combinations will be explored by players themselves, which is why excellent players can get several times or even ten times higher income than others in BetaMars.
A:Our team members all have many years of experience in the game and crypto fields. I have worked with BM before and participated in the development and design of two major projects, BitShares and EOS. Our game art designer, Jeff, has participated in 3A projects such as DNF, Maple Leaf and other games’ character and scene design.
Jeff also worked in Nexon, a top game studio in South Korea, and is good at in-game scenes and character design. Silvia, the founder of the BetaMars project R&D and the head of BetaMars game operation, worked for the Singapore-based Garena game company and was responsible for game operations there, and had rich work experience of operation for well-known League of Legends and large-scale online role-playing games Deer and the Cauldron and other games.
There are other teammates I can’t introduce one by one, but it is undeniable that they are equally good. I also believe that with the joint efforts of our team, BetaMars will definitely become a high-quality metaverse game.
A:There are two tokens in our game, namely the project ecological token Elonpunk and the project sub-token Revo.
Elonpunk, referred to as EP in the game, is the main carrier for players to realize profits. As a sub-token of the game, Revo is more of a bargaining chip for players to cooperate and confront with each other, and has its own market supply and demand logic. Through the design of different production methods and application scenarios, EP and Revo are kept in a state of continuous demand from game players.
Elonpunk (EP) is the only ecological governance token in the BetaMars world, with a total supply of 10 billion, of which 55% will be invested in the game ecology to be gained by players.
In the game, EP mainly comes from the Land NFT owned by Lords. Lords set the dividend ratio, also known as the Exploitation value in the game, to attract Miners to work on his Land NFT to mine more EP revenues.
As the project ecological token, EP has rich application scenarios in BetaMars, such as being used for Land NFT auctions, Miners purchasing mining license, Ticket NFT, and participating in BetaMars future world construction and other functions. In addition, Elonpunk (EP) can also be used to pay gas fees and purchase other services open to the BetaMars ecosystem in the future.
Revo, an incentive token embedded in the Betamars 1.0 world, plays an important role.Revo, as a sub-token of the game, can only be obtained by Miners by working on the Lord's Land NFT. But in fact, Revo are more important to Lords.
For example, Lords need to use Revo to improve the Solidity of the Land NFT, which is an attribute that’s positively related to the final EP output of the Land NFT. Lords also to burn Revo to obtain daily Tax dividends. For Miners, Revo can be staked to the Rage pool to trigger the Great Revolution and divide up the Great Revolution dividends. Based on Revo's rich application scenarios, it is an important monetization channel for miners, and also an important and influential factor for players to derive more strategic combinations.
A:In BetaMars 1.0, player’s gambling is the core mechanism of the game, which is mainly reflected in mining mechanism in the game. In the mining mechanism, players need to seize BetaMars resources by cooperation and confrontation.
When the game starts, over 55% of BetaMars' ecological token EP will put into the mining output contract to be divided by Lords who participate in the mining. After the daily settlement, each Lord's Land NFT will obtain a hash value according to the game data of the day. The higher the hash value, the more EP can be gained on that day.
So how to increase this hash value? To put it simply, it is to attract Miners to work on your land as much as possible. Miners consume mining licenses to work on the Land NFT (automatically 1 free mining license every day) to mine EP. Lords set an Exploitation value to divide EP revenues with miners.
To give a simple example, a Lord could earn 1,000 EP in a single day, but he sets a 50% Exploitation Value, which means he is willing to give 50% of his daily EP revenues to the Miners who work on his own Land NFT. This act attracts many Miners to help the Lord to mine, which makes the hash value of the Land NFT increase heavily on the day. So the Lord actually can get 3,000 EP after the settlement.
Even if 50% of the revenue is distributed to the Miners, the Lords still has 1500 EP, 500 EP more than before.
It also means that the Lord can attract Miners to achieve a win-win by setting a proper Exploitation value. The reality is that there are many Lords in the entire BetaMars world, so in order to obtain more EP revenue, there will certainly have confrontation between Lords and Lords.
In addition to the confrontation between Lords and Lords, there will also be confrontation and cooperation between Miners and Miners, Lords and Miners. The confrontation and cooperation make the entire BetaMars game more exciting.
A:Currently there are 2 kinds of NFTs in BetaMars 1.0, respectively Land NFT and Ticket NFT. Land NFT is the only way to activate Lord's identity and the vital infrastructure in the game as well. In 1.0, Elonpunk Pool is attached to the Land NFT, functioning fro producing the ecological resources, EP and Revo. Apart from that, in the 2.0 stage, Land NFT can be used to construct buildings and game models, and players will get BTC rewards by running the Land NFT.
Ticket NFT also plays an important role in the game. Ticket NFT is the only way to activate Miner's identity. There are blue (common) Ticket and gold (rare) Ticket. Gold Ticket drop rate is only 3%. Currently, Ticket NFT can only be used for players to verify the identity of Miners, but we're developing more features of it.
NFT is one of the main assets in crypto games, which determines the cost of player participation in the game. Currently our game participation cost is affordable. BetaMars is in the early stage of game development, so we prefer to airdrop free Ticket NFT and Land NFT to users. As long as people join our discord group, or follow our Twitter, you can get the latest airdrop information to participate in the event and get free NFT.
A:For players choosing different identities, there are different ways to cash in. For example, Lord can allocate the EP revenues on the Land NFT, so the Lord can share the EP revenues with Miners.
Additionally, Lords can also get a daily Tax dividends by burning Revo every day. We have a Tax mechanism in the game that collects (10+N)% of the EP output of the Land NFT every day. 40% of these taxes will go to the Lords who burn Revo every day, and the remaining 60% will go to the Lords and Miners who stake Revo in our Rage Pool. Lords can earn additional EP rewards by burning and staking Revo.
Miners directly obtain EP and Revo revenue by mining. It should be noted that only Miners earn Revo from the game. Because of the rich application scenarios of Revo, both Lords and Miners have a greater demand for Revo. For instance, Lords need to use Revo to increase the land Solidity and get daily Tax dividends. So for Miners, it's an efficient way to earn by selling Revo in the secondary market.
A:We have been dedicated to the BetaMars market expansion and influence. Now and in the future, we will actively cooperate with high-quality projects by the ways of AMA and community joint events to promote our project.
