We have some fantastic projects lined up today, each bringing exciting developments and innovations to the Linea blockchain. So, let's jump right in and learn more about Desig, Tifo.trade, Mendi Finance, Peko Protocol.
To get started, let's have each project representative introduce themselves and their project.
DesigLabs: Official Link
Desig:
We’re building Desig - a blockchain-agnostic multisig solution empowered by MPC-TSS and ZK technology.
Synergy with Linea: aligns with the network's vision of creating a scalable and user-friendly blockchain platform - offers extra security and freedom for users to freely move around from/to Linea and explore

As I understand, Desig is already live on multiple layers. Can you share with our community how many layers Desig is currently live on and maybe give us a few names of those layers?
Desig:
In less than 2 months, we’re already live on 11 different blockchains! As a proud participant of the Consensys Startup Program, we prioritized Ethereum and Linea a lot, followed by Polygon and BNB Chain. Being chain-agnostic, we also explore promising lands such as Solana, Aptos, Sui, ZetaChain, and Moonbeam. And among some of the more complex blockchains, we challenged Sei and Hedera.
This is all possible thanks to Desig being empowered by awesome, battle-tested technologies like MPC-TSS and ZK.

Interoperability is increasingly crucial in the blockchain space. How does your project ensure compatibility and seamless collaboration with other projects within the Linea Ecosystem?
Desig:
Desig ensures compatibility and seamless collaboration in the Linea Ecosystem through its blockchain-agnostic approach. It can work with multiple blockchains, including Linea, without relying on specific features or smart contracts. To interact with any blockchain, you need a pair of public and private keys - and that’s exactly how Desig appears on-chain!
Since all DApps are designed to be compatible with an EOA wallet, Desig can naturally be integrated into any DApp on the market, including partners within the Linea ecosystem.
Although we’re now focusing on expanding Desig’s reach to more chains, we’re also in talks with lots of partners for potential feature integrations. You can expect major updates from us in the next phase!

Our next guest for our session today would be Peko Protocol. Hi Eleanor, We heard that the Peko Protocol has introduced a new mechanism on calculating the collateral factor. Can you please let us know what it is and why it is different?
Peko Protocol:
Unlike traditional methods that rely solely on the liquidity of assets, DCF takes into account an additional crucial factor—the user's credit score.
Each user has a unique collateral factor (loan to value ratio).
Why DCF: DCF encourages responsible borrowing behavior and rewards users who demonstrate prompt repayment.

Besides, I've heard whispers about Peko's upcoming airdrop event for users. Could you share some details about it with the community?

We are going to airdrop 5 million $peko tokens in Season 1 Airdrop campaign by the end of August for our early supporters, taking up 5% of the total supply.

We have a very exciting news, successfully raised $700k from institutional investors in the private round, with their capital and resources, we are determined to build a great money market to contribute to the whole linea ecosystem.
We have connected with the Linea Foundation and form strategic partnership with other projects, contributing to build this project and ecosystem together

Are there any notable partnerships or collaborations that your project has already established or plans to establish in the near future?
Peko Protocol:
Notable projects like Horizon Dex, Echo Dex and Surfi and many other projects on linea. For Horizon Dex, they will list our token on their whitelist pool, which will give users an insane APY by staking $peko token on their platform
We are currently negotiating with MEXC, it's likely that we will have them as our launching partner.

And with Tifo.trade, I saw that your roadmap and current project phase must be very fascinating. It must be a long journey. Could you share some insights with us? Were there any challenges you faced during the project's development?
Tifo.trade:
Tifo trade’s idea was originally formed in 2021, and after more than a year of testing and optimization, we encountered many challenges during development, because the Perpetual DEX sector is the deep water area of DeFi, and the product logic is relatively more complex, with high requirements for network latency and transaction costs. We were very fortunate to discover Linea in May. After research, we felt Linea was the most suitable for Tifo's construction and development in all aspects. So we finally decided to build on Linea. Currently, we have launched the beta version on the Linea testnet and plan to launch the alpha version on the mainnet next month.

How about Beta Testing Event? I heard some rumors about that. Could you provide us with a sneak peek into what that entails?
Tifo.trade:
Yes, we launched the beta version on the Linea testnet last week. In order to help users better understand the product and get more feedback, we launched a testing incentive activity with a total bonus worth 100,000 USDT in TIFO tokens, which will be implemented in stages. Users just need to complete simple interactions to participate. Please check our activity document for detailed rules. We sincerely welcome everyone to participate and provide valuable opinions.

Does the project allocate tokens for airdrops to users?
Tifo.trade:
We highly value early supporters and will reward early supporters with airdrop incentives. Time flies and we will move to our last part today with Mendi Finance. Hi there, I heard that You were also at ethCC? How was your experience there?
Mendi Finance:
Got the booth from Linea for an hour. Attended the Linea side events, met with investors to talk about LGE. Start to build out more partners. Seems the Linea community is very positive and future-focused. Wanted to launch on ETHCC, ERC20 wasn’t bridgeable (USDC) we couldn’t hold the LGE. Stay tuned for it, upcoming 2 weeks.

Mendi Finance stands out from other lending protocols, but how exactly? What sets it apart?
Mendi Finance:
We have a few main USPs that make us stand out from other lending protocols.

Will be returning 100% of protocol profits to stakers (uMENDI, sMENDI & $VC)

Encourage protocol use with focus on borrowers. 60% of total tokens will be allocated to emissions.

Build an ecosystem with tokenomics by involving Velocore bribes to generate liquidity & yields (20% total emissions)

Besides**,** Real-world use cases are crucial. Can you give us some examples of how your project's technology is being practically applied within the Linea ecosystem?
Mendi Finance:
Building many partnerships as possible ie. Velocore. Not yet public info yet, but we’ve established a few partnerships that we’re going to build some innovative products with based on Mendi.

Partnerships can drive growth. Are there any notable partnerships or collaborations your project has already established or is planning to establish within the Linea Ecosystem?
Mendi Finance:
Velocore DEX, Fluvi’s account abstraction wallet, Ledgity stablecoin vault, also built on Mendi. Working on other interesting partnerships, coming soon.

About some last words, I would spend it for Marco. Hi Marco, do you still hear me well? Do you want to share with us some upcoming actions from Linea Foundation to support builders in the short term and long term plans?

Definitely. about the next steps. We launched the network without tokens bridge. We’re fully committed to security of the users .
We have some plans on September. We will come back with new Voyage during Testnet it would be so far with the Voyage very linked to it
Long term: 1st thing is, guaranteed the network grant -> 20 times cheaper to transaction rather than mainnet-> Go live with Linea 100% spark the next step of defi live on Linea
