Linkkey ORC-20 Airdrop Tech Explain

Linkkey's official new orc20 inscription #7356126, based on the upgrade of inscription #6822997:

Old inscriptions (not recognized as valid json due to the presence of Chinese commas within the inscription, and not recognized as orc20 inscriptions):

We are upgrading for the old inscription #6822997 by minting all orc20 coin to the official address all at once via the new inscription #7356126, and then transferring the first 21,000 valid mint inscriptions by batch transfer from the official address.

After 21000 invalid inscriptions, we will make additional airdrops to these addresses, thank you for your support.

The current number of inscriptions #682997 have been minted:

The current orc20 send inscription transaction, the official document gives a description and reference example than simple and convenient, no tips for more complex situations examples or detailed explanations said, we are currently mainly referring to the description of the official document for orc20 send transaction practical, of course, we also consulted orc20 competition experienced circle of people. Because the orc20 transaction indexer was still not online at that time, our bulk transfers could still only be presented as inscriptions on links, and we needed to wait for the transaction indexer to be launched to resolve the account balance normally.

⚠️ Important statement:

The send Event we perform is exactly as described in the official documentation, we use multiple send step1 transactions + a send step2 (change) transaction scheme, which is clearly described in the official documentation

Below we focus on our batch transfer solutions, which we also call airdrop explanations.

Batch transfer solution

After two days of researching the official documents of orc20, as well as consulting official and experienced circle members, we unanimously decided to use multiple send step1 and one send step2 transactions to complete all transfers, which is fully feasible in the description of the official documents.

send step1 and step2
send step1 and step2

Why did we use the above approach to complete multiple transfers for orc20 instead of one transfer sending two transactions (transferring the amount to the recipient and the remaining amount to the initiator)?

The reasons are as follows:

  1. we need to send more than 400 orc20 transfers in a short period of time, if each transfer is sent with step1 & step2 transactions, it is likely that the chain will be packed with confirmation disorder, i.e. step2 will be confirmed before step1, which is likely to cause some of the transactions to be ruled failed.

  2. We first make 400+ send step1 transactions, and after all the step1 transactions are confirmed by the chain, we finally make one send step2 transaction, and all the transactions are considered valid after step2 is confirmed (we will tweet this message in the official Twitter). This will allow all holders to know very clearly that their balance is valid, and then start trading freely.

Until the official trading indexer is available, we advise you to trade orc20 coin with caution.

Thank you for your understanding and patience, now we have started the airdrop processing, the confirmation of the transaction may be slow (maybe take a few hours), please continue to be patient with token holders.
