On 17th November 2022, we’re so glad to organize an AMA with BurgerCities, a one-stop Play & Earn MetaFi platform.

The AMA session was held on SPACE ID discord server with the participation:

Segment 1: Intro to BurgerCities

Q1: A brief introduction of BurgerCities

BurgerCities:

BurgerCities is based on Burgerswap, a DeFi product that has already been launched on Binance. It creates a unified and standardized Web3 behavioral metaverse world by integrating DeFi and NFT into a broader metaverse scenario. In this world, people can perform daily activities, such as socializing and playing games. while experiencing DeFi and NFT features such as Swap, Staking, and visiting NFT exhibitions through their visual metaverse images.

BurgerCities has successfully created a virtual world by combining 2D and cyberpunk by taking into account the hindrance of the current technology for the metaverse scenario to be landed. This world not only has a mapping of the physical world, but also all your Web3 behaviors can be realized in it, while greatly reducing the configuration requirements for the user's hardware, without lagging and other problems.

In order to increase the utility and playability of BurgerCities, BurgerCities embeds a game that allows users to experience the richness of the metaverse through BurgerCities NFT heroes who go through the gameplay of fighting monsters, PK, and managing land.

With this product, BurgerCities hopes to give new power to the flourishing of the entire metaverse and create a new life for Web3 applications such as DeFi and NFT.

Q2: Use case of $Burger

BurgerCities:

Thanks to the support of the community, the burger token is now online on mainstream exchanges such as Binance and bitget, and the current daily volume is around 10 million USD. And in this bear market wave, there is also a wave of about 10 times increase due to the heat of MetaFi and people's recognition of burger.

Currently, Burger tokens have more empowerment related to the meta-universe, mainly the following.

Token mining incentives

• Single coin mining: Pledge mining can yield revenue, while pledge-generated Veburger can participate in the decentralized governance of the ecology

• Liquidity mining: Burger-Bnb and other transaction pairs incentive pool

  Currently some of the transaction pairs (single coin mining) APY annualized returns are around 10%. It has also gained the recognition of many users.

• Pass task reward mechanism

  Through the completion of the pass task, unlock the pass fixed rewards, and equal share of the prize pool each season. In the first season, the burger pool is up to 100,000 burgers. In the subsequent seasons, the pool will gradually increase to 1 million burgers.

  Set up various ecological function competition mechanism in Metaverse, through the completion of function tasks to obtain for function points. People with different functions will compete for positions through function point PK. Users with functions enjoy job hiring mining rewards, while special job tasks have additional mining rewards.

Q3: What are the challenges bringing more users into the metaverse?

BurgerCities:

Actually, users currently encounter quite a few problems in accessing the metaverse.

the threshold for users to enter the metaverse is too high

the high purchase cost of vr and ar glasses makes the challenge. As something that benefits the general public, there is still a lot of capacity to compress the price of this thing.

the computer's hardware small configuration causes lagging

everyone in experience of injecting decentraland and other metaverse products process, found that its computer hardware configuration requirements to the outside is very small. But in fact, when the computer's hardware configuration is small, it is very easy to lag.

the whole metaverse product still needs to be polished

For the metaverse image released by meta a few days ago, many people flirted with the fact that it was not as good as the game character modeling in 2005 or so. This reduces the appeal to users.

So we can understand that. Due to the lack of user magnitude of the entire decentralized (web3) concept and other introductory products, resulting in the lack of metaverse product users, we first need to improve the popularity of the let's decentralize concept and web3 introduction products.

Segment 2: Integration of BurgerCities and SPACE ID

Q4: is SPACE ID suitable for Crypto beginners? Or does it only limited to professional users?

SPACE ID:

SPACE ID is for everyone and welcomes everyone no matter if you are an OG or a newbie in the space. Our registration process is very simple and takes less than 1 minute. All you need is to connect your wallet, choose the domain you’d like and register. One wallet can hold more than 1 domain and you can choose to set primary address with the preferred domain of choice.

We started the project because we saw the importance of identity in web3 and people want identity for certain interactions. Domain name is even more perfect for new users who are not used to transfer funds/assets by using the long string of random letters. It helps users to have better user experience and fewer errors overall.

It makes it easier for people to follow them as well. Q5: How will BurgerCities implement the .bnb domain in the game?

BurgerCities:

At the moment the best decentralized domain name service in the BNB chain ecosystem is none other than SPACE ID.

In BurgeCities, we now support users to log in to the game directly using .bnb domain. This provides more applications for .bnb domains.

Q6: Where do you see decentralized identity heading in the near future? Why do you think it is important to have a domain name in metaverse?

BurgerCities:

Let's start with the conclusion: we are bullish on decentralized identities, a track that, like MetaFi, is also a $100 billion market.

Decentralized identity is now widely recognized by the industry as the core infrastructure for Web3 development. Through the use of blockchain and other technology, digital identity is truly owned and controlled by individual users and is the future identity credential in a decentralized society.

Just like we keep the paper documents such as ID card, passport and account book in our own homes carefully and only take them out when needed, there is no longer any intermediary who owns the user's identity and data completely, which can better avoid the above dilemma. For example, any user can register a SPACE ID domain name service account without permission, once registered, you (and only you) will have full control of the account, and an account corresponds to a number of addresses under personal identity (including BTC, ETH, etc.), the most direct, after binding personal identity, just enter '12345. bnb' and other similar abbreviations to complete the transfer of multi-chain assets. In addition to acting as a blockchain address, it also acts as an NFT with an identity, in which personal data and other information can be stored, equivalent to a digital identity card on the chain.

In other words, with the DID account carried by a decentralized domain name, it can open up the on-chain and off-chain data and introduce credit factors and even a complete set of perfect credit mechanisms into the Web3 world.

We are surely bullish on the future of did as well.

Now with blockchain, we have a solution of managing information related to our identities ourselves and controlling how we share the information. We see a lot of debates on whether decentralized identities is the future or just a niche solely used by crypto natives.

I think we will see more use cases around decentralized identities. For example, the BAB token issued by Binance for KYC credentials. It will be easier to verify and interact with each other with digital identity. It makes identifiable information more portable while keeping it safe.

In BurgerCities, you are participating in defi, gamefi, and all the other aspects of metafi. All your experiences and interactions forms into who you are in this metaverse and we believe everyone should have an identity or SPACE ID because that represents who you are. We want our own identity in real life, on the internet and it would be the same when we are in the metavserse. It makes no sense to interact with a wallet address with a random string of letters.

However, self-sovereignty always mean less user-friendly, so we are looking forward to more innovative products in the space.

Metaverse is key in bringing people to get together and interact in an immersive virtual experience. It will especially change how we act in gaming, social media, retail etc.

Segment 3: Future Planning

Q7: Can both of you share with us a little bit further about your roadmap and upcoming plans?

BurgerCities:

Q1 2022: complete development and testing of the product model

Q2 2022: Alpha version goes live, providing MetaFi functionality and game features for everyone, with 100+ partners

Q3-Q4 2022: complete development and launch of the meta-universe land scenario, with 100+ partners, enrolled in the project or individuals

Q1 and Q2 are now nearing completion and everyone has already seen the BurgerCities meta-universe product application. We have prepared up to a million burger per season to be used as in-game gold-playing rewards. You are welcome to play through https://app.burgercities.org/ .
