Hey whiskers 🐟 Hope you had a marvelous May! Here’s the rundown:
Last Fish! - An All-In-One Competitive Card Game
The expansion packs for Last Fish! were ordered to Winnie earlier this month for her to do some creative quality assurance. We found that there were some color issues with the first batch, so we are doing a revision and getting new samples ordered. As with any product, revisions are totally expected and a part of the process to create the best possible product for our fans! Here’s a sneak peek at some of the cards from our first expansion: Cards of Fortune.
As for our card sleeves, they’re looking good and are already on their way to the warehouse. We’re looking forward to getting them into your hands soon!
Whiskers Webstore
Going as planned, we’ve soft-launched our webstore and are taking orders! Currently, we have Whiskers themed apparel and webstore-exclusive plushies. You can also purchase our flagship Lash Fish! card game - perfect for summertime hangouts with your friends 😉 We’ve already gotten several orders and it's great to see we’re finally generating revenue.
In order for our games, products, and wonderful world to reach a wider audience, we have also started setting up an Amazon shop for easier purchasing. Currently, we are just about ready to go live, having sent in an initial game shipment that’s been assimilated into the Amazon fulfillment system just this week. You can think of these things, along with everything we’ve been doing up until now (especially all the things we do in the background) as winding back a springboard… preparing for launch!
As an aside, seeing Pudgy Penguins launch successfully on Amazon recently has been great. It’s incredible seeing other Web3 products succeeding in Web2 endeavors, so hats off to them!
Creative Projects
Last month we concluded Rumors in the Wind and The Gatecrasher, wrapping up Book Three: The Sands of Time of Burt and the Adventurer’s story! Here are the latest two chapters we’ve released:
Since then we’ve been hard at work planning Book Four. You can expect some wonderful new chapters in later this month 📚
Like listening instead of reading? Got a long drive or flight coming up? Bugabu has created an audiobook of our prologue, and more… that we’ll be releasing soon ♥️
Community
We’ve been busy this month brainstorming ideas for marketing to involve new and old fans. Now that our game is launched, we would like to make a big push to get it in the eyes of our target audience and keep our current community engaged. We already have some great ideas and are actually thinking of hosting a Last Fish! Tournament in the future, but in the spirit of keeping our ears open, we definitely are open to hearing out any ideas that anyone has as well! Just let us know in our discord.
Team Updates
We’ve recently welcomed Kimberly Reuter to our team as our resident Business Wizard. Her focus is on business, product, and brand direction and is who keeps the gears turning.

From the Old Wizard (Rico’s Updates)
Hey all,
I’ve had an eclectic month! Getting us ready for Amazon selling, looking into other marketplaces, setting up our webstore, and going to VeeCon! I learned a ton at VeeCon. Took notes from some of the eye opening talks, interviewed a few people in similar positions, and absorbed as much information as I could. The future is bright, for all of us.
