Hey whiskers 🐟 February has been a fun month, and we’re so glad you’ve spent it with us! Here’s a recap of all that we did:
Last Fish! - An All-In-One Competitive Card Game
We’ve launched our Kickstarter, which was decided to be February 28th, 2023! The team is looking forward to using this Kickstarter campaign strategy to get our name out there and hopefully find more members of The Great Pond that love the Whiskers just as much as we do. In preparation for this, we’ve also been steadily increasing our number of email subscribers that are going to be in-the-know about all things Last Fish!
If you’re a Whiskers holder, our team is so thankful of your continued loyalty and belief in us. We love each and every one of you and that’s why we will be giving back ❤️ We took a snapshot of holders and ran a claim for you all to get a copy of the game! If you missed the claim period, fill out this form and we’ll see if we can accommodate you. Also check out this post in our discord to learn more about how the tiers work and exactly what you are eligible to claim!

As for the first expansion pack, our team is nearing the finalization of the card designs and starting to prepare designs for production. This includes the design of the box and additional instruction or informational sheets that will come with the expansion pack ✍️Here’s a sneak peek…

Book 3 has been coming along swimmingly, as we’ve already churned out chapter 1, chapter 2 and chapter 3. It’s been a busy month in the community, and we’re so here for it! Bugabu hosted a Twitter Spaces reading of book 2 and we’ve had a couple collaborations come out for our holders!

In the Discord
Our very own Tinkerboops has been hosting 🎤Trivia Night🎤 every Wednesday at 8pm EST. Winners can win copies of Last Fish! and other goodies as prizes.
Along with that, rounds of Last Fish! are still being held here and there in our discord through Tabletop Simulator. Keep an eye out for more sessions to come and get some practice in so you can fry your fishy friends when the physical game comes out 👀

From the Old Wizard (Rico’s Updates)
Big moment for us a few days ago as we finally launched our Kickstarter for Last Fish! This has been months in the making and we’re so proud that it’s finally all come together. As I touched on before, this Kickstarter is less about raising money and more about getting our name out to the board game crowd and establishing ourselves as people who can deliver a beautiful and fun experience. Keep an eye out for giveaways, ads, and AMAs this month as we’ll be promoting Last Fish! as much as possible.
