Do you want to work in Web3 but can't commit full-time?

In an industry as fast-growing as Web3, ambassadors are undervalued. Mail3 Team is looking to support those who value freedom and self-sovereignty through the adoption of Web3 by devoting their time to educating others. Mail3 is launching an ambassador program to provide resources to this community.

Mail3 Ambassadors are volunteers who help provide the information required for Mail3 ecosystem participants to make informed decisions that help shape our shared future.

What does Ambassador do?

Mail3 Team will not instruct ambassadors but instead look for ambassadors to take ownership, supporting ambassadors in whatever ways we can. You can do anything that brings users to Mail3. Here are some examples:

Content:

• Write about Mail3 or produce educational content

• Produce high-quality tutorial content

• Translate Mail3 content to your language

• Take notes for Mail3 AMAs, interviews, or other online events

• Making memes & infographics

Community:

• Retweet Mail3's official announcements

• Reply to other builders' relevant tweets and mention @mail3dao

• Introduce builders to Mail3 community

• Bring up new ideas for Mail3 related to growth, partnership, and community.

What are the perks of being an Ambassador?

Ambassadors are volunteers, so there is no financial compensation for being one. However, being an Ambassador comes with other benefits!

• Exclusive goods (NFT, Cryptocurrency, Exclusive Raffle, etc.)

• Receive an Ambassador role on the Mail3 Discord server

• Receive reward from Mail3 Discord Incentive Program

• Direct access to members of the Mail3 team for questions and suggestions

How to join?

We’re currently only adding 3 to 5 new ambassadors per month to ensure we can provide each ambassador with enough support from the Mail3 Team. We hope to have the capability to allow more Ambassadors in soon!

Requirements

• You can commit 5 hours a month in service to the community, for six months.

• At least 18 years of age

FAQs

1. Do I need to share my real identity to be an Ambassador?

No, you can stay anonymous. Although there are some perks of being an Ambassador which you may miss out on if you want to stay truly anonymous (private events, swag shipments)

2. Do I own the content I create as an ambassador?

Yes! You own all the content you create, along with any community platforms you build. If at some point you can no longer manage a community you’ve created, reach out to us and we can help.

3. Will the Mail3 team promote my content or ambassador work?

Although we can’t promise what you create will always be promoted, this is something we love doing. Just make sure to tag us on Twitter @mail3dao to ensure we’re aware of it!

4. What if I later decide I no longer want to be an ambassador?

That’s totally fine; we understand circumstances change and will never hold it against you. Please let us know if you no longer wish to be an Ambassador.

5. Do Ambassadors get paid?

Ambassadors are volunteers, so there is no financial compensation for being one. However, if you wish to use your position and skills to generate income, that's allowed!

6. How long do Ambassador memberships last?

Membership lasts for one year and can be renewed. You won’t need to go through the normal wait process again, but there will be checks to ensure you’re still meeting the requirements.
