Digital fashion assets might be the sleeper opportunity of 2023 in cryptocurrency

Digital fashion might be the sleeper opportunity of 2023. The growing popularity of e-sports and virtual events is driving the demand for digital fashion, with the utility of fashion fast increasing as digital asset creators find more and more ways to reward digital fashion asset holders retroactively, continuing to add utility to tokens in collections that have already been minted.

For example, token holders of the MIAMI CANS SN33KAZ Edition REMX digital fashion token have access to limited edition physical prints from Maxximillian's companion aesthetic tokenized fine art collection, the collection upon which some of the patterns in the MIAMI CANS Edition SN33KAZ are based on. For me, as an artist (@XXIMIW3L), one of the joys of utility is rewarding my token holders with utility that deepens their ownership or appreciation of a collection of mine through my deeper sharing of the stories, experiences and artworks that contributed to the final collection.

Metaverse fashion is here to stay and it's only getting bigger and better. Embrace it and make it your own.

With the growing popularity of virtual reality and the increasing use of avatars in everything from social media to business meetings, metaverse fashion is no longer a niche market. It's a rapidly expanding industry that offers endless possibilities for self-expression and creativity.

So don't be afraid to embrace your personal style and make a statement with your virtual wardrobe.

As the virtual world continues to expand and evolve, the demand for fashionable metaverse clothing is on the rise. In the Spatial Metaverse, avatars serve as virtual representations of ourselves, and much like in the physical world, the way we choose to dress our avatars reflects our personal style and interests.

Why does personalization for my avatar matter in the metaverse?

It's not just about personal style.

Identity. Custom digital fashion assets make it easy for your friends to find you In a simulated experience where there are limited customization options by default.

Convenience. Ownership of digital fashion assets are helpful in that you’d have your own assets to choose from and can more quickly enter a metaverse experience without having to explore the default clothing options.

Authenticity. Or suffer being generically represented by default avatars who do not accurately represent your uniqueness.

Gone are the days of being able to find your friends wearing basic default clothing options.

Visibility. Savvy metaverse denizens are seeking out unique and fashionable options to stand out in the increasingly crowded virtual realm. From virtual runways to in-world boutiques, fashion platforms and secondary market sales, the metaverse fashion industry is booming, offering endless possibilities for self-expression and creativity.

Just as in real life the way we appear influences the way we interact with each other and the world around us. The need for fashionable and expressive metaverse clothing will only continue to rise. Enjoy the fruits of being early and don’t miss your opportunity to collect your pieces from the historical treasury of digital fashion because once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Some of the digital fashion drops I’ve seen aren’t wearables for any metaverse. Are there more reasons than dressing an avatar in the metaverse for people to be collecting digital fashion assets?

In addition to the immediate wear-it-in-the-metaverse utility, digital fashion non fungible tokens often offer additional utility to the collector. The most exciting creators are often surprising their collectors with retroactive utility for additional goodies like invitations to private events, and limited edition merchandise.

G0LD3N MER Satoshi Edition digital fashion token holders can claim special Collectors Edition matching companion assets as airdrops when they collect the Satoshi jacket and SN33KAZ, creating a set that becomes greater than the sum of its parts with an additional drop that only becomes available to holders of both tokens in the same wallet. Offer available through February 1st.

Metaverse experiences are also on the rise for education, therapy, and even healthcare. The potential for metaverse utility is endless, and digital fashion assets are a crucial part of this new world. How we present ourselves influence interpersonal interactions, so for the benefit of all: dress appropriately, and dress well.

Here are five reasons I expect digital fashion assets to skyrocket in the next 2-5 years:

Increased demand for digital experiences: As more people spend time online due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other factors, there has been a growing demand for digital experiences, including digital fashion. Online events are community building activities. I’ll need a wardrobe of different looks, ideally. To have my best metaverse experience and to be the best metaverse guest, I would dress my avatar appropriately to the event I’m attending. Remember: we can take pictures and videos in the metaverse, it’s more fun for everyone when your avatar is dressing the part and it makes for great photos.

Growing popularity of e-sports and virtual events: The popularity of e-sports and virtual events has increased in recent years, leading to a greater demand for digital fashion assets that can be used to personalize avatars and virtual experiences.

Increasing adoption of virtual and augmented reality: As virtual and augmented reality technology becomes more widespread, there will likely be a greater demand for digital fashion assets that can be used to enhance these experiences.

Increasing demand for sustainable fashion: As consumers become more conscious of the environmental impact of their fashion choices, there may be a greater demand for digital fashion assets, which do not require the use of physical materials and resources.

Growing trend of personalization: There is a growing trend towards personalization in fashion, and digital fashion assets offer a way for consumers to create unique and customized looks.

I predict the market for digital fashion will continue to grow as demand for digital experiences and virtual events increases. Augmented reality fashion is a highly flexible, sustainable, more accessible outlet for conceptual fashion to formalwear to streetwear. From my own experiences as a denizen of avatar-led metaverses, I see the adoption of one-of-a-kind and small edition digital fashion wearables increasing exponentially. From a digital fashion designer’s perspective, as our game engines become more resourceful, our design specifications will become more generous, and integrations between metaverse platforms and their assets will become even more frictionless. Less friction = faster adoption = more builders = more utility = exponential growth = more stability = steady adoption and steady growth.

Why do you expect metaverse experiences to become mainstream?

Virtual reality (VR) is a technology that allows users to immerse themselves in a computer-generated environment that simulates a real or imaginary place. VR can be experienced through a headset that covers the user's eyes and sometimes includes headphones for sound. Mass adoption is further off until the price of the hardware and technical specifications are reduced to something more people can afford, but many metaverses do no require VR headsets or allow the user to employ it optionally for an elevated experience but do not require it.

Here are four use cases for how VR and the metaverse (a shared virtual space where users can interact in real time) can solve real-world problems for regular people and business owners:

Education: VR can be used to create immersive learning experiences that allow students to explore and interact with virtual environments in a way that is not possible in the real world. This can be especially useful for subjects like history, science, and geography, where students can learn about different cultures, environments, and historical events in a more engaging and interactive way.

Health and therapy: VR can be used to help people cope with anxiety, phobias, and other mental health issues by exposing them to virtual situations that mimic real-world scenarios. VR can also be used to help people recover from physical injuries or disabilities by allowing them to practice movements and activities in a safe and controlled environment.

Training and simulation: VR can be used to train people for a variety of roles, including military, law enforcement, and emergency responders. VR can also be used to simulate complex situations, such as car accidents or fires, so that people can practice how to respond in a controlled environment.

Remote work and meetings: The metaverse can be used to enable people to work and collaborate remotely in a virtual environment. This can be especially useful for business owners who need to connect with employees, clients, or partners from different locations. The metaverse can also be used to host virtual events, such as conferences and trade shows, which can help businesses reach a wider audience.

Digital fashion tokens are fun but also useful. It also entitles token holders to special Miami-themed airdrops and activations scheduled throughout 2023.
