How we got here
Mazury was born in late 2021 with a mission to build a reputation system for anonymous contributors. One address could vouch for another one by giving them a referral — that was the original idea behind the product.
However with time, we decided to also start to capture broader data about web3 contributions and came up with the concepts of badges and searching. More about these later :)
On December 1st, the early version of mazury was launched and since then over 4000 people signed up and checked it out — we are super proud of this number bc its still literally just a toy & we didn’t hype it too much
Since the launch we raised a pre seed funding from fabric ventures and frst & built the team that got us to this new shiny release of mazury. Let’s learn more about it!
What are we actually launching today
Badges
Badges are our version of metaverse credentials. You receive a badge by being a part of a community, doing something professionally significant or contributing to meaningful projects.
When you visit your mazury profile right now, you will be able to display your badges — our next priority is to make them mintable as soulbound NFTs. Coming soon!
Referrals
Referrals are a novel way of vouching for an anonymous eth address. You can say whatever you want about whatever address / profile and it will be counted as an endorsement in our system.
Similarly with badges, we are launching referrals as just our own, centralized product, but plan on moving them on chain soon. We will be choosing home for our referrals soon, so if you’re working on social protocols shoot us a dm!
Search
With search we allow you to find your new web3 contributor-friend with no effort. Any piece of data that we index from web3 apps can be used to filter through mazury profiles. While still limited in capability, we aim to make the mazury search as excellent for finding contributors as google is for displaying ads finding information on the internet.
What are we building next
Soulbound NFT badges
Our next priority is to make the badges actually mintable as soulbound NFTs — something that we’ve been promising since the very early launch, but always had larger priorities (like this new frontend release). Expect NFT badges to come very soon, possibly as early as the next month :)
More badges
We want to have hundreds of different badges / credentials to claim on our platform in the next few months. Everybody should be rewarded with at least some common badges — simple!
Credential integrations
Naturally to make our app the most useful to recruiters as possible, we want to integrate with all web3 credential projects out there. Platforms that we are looking at right now include:

This is the core of our mission — to help companies hire better talent, faster. As of now, all our software is free and will be experimenting with products or services that are built on top of our search, referrals and badges.
