We are excited to announce our next core collection, Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons, which takes you on a journey through Mercedes-Benz's design heritage and features icons from both the past and present.

Our initial core collection, "Maschine," explored themes of motion, velocity, and perception. It was inspired by a single element of a car: spokes. Now, we want to take things one step further and delve into automotive design as a whole.

These collectibles of the Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons collection are digital re-interpretations of the most notable designs and were created by the Mercedes-Benz design team, headed by Chief Design Officer Gorden Wagener.

The collection will make connections between the past, present, and future through digital collectibles in the form of “cards”. Physical trading cards have been popular collector's items for a long time and have influenced the aesthetics of the digital collectible space too.

The story of Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons will be told across seven eras, starting from the present day and going back to the beginning of automotive history. Each era will consist of approximately 2,700 collectibles, resulting in a total of 18,860 pieces across all seven eras.

Eras will be released over time, with a new one coming every few months.

We will soon share more information about the seven eras, the designs featured in the first era, and the variety and diversity of traits in the Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons collection.

Furthermore, we are pleased to announce something for collectors of "Maschine" and Mercedes-Benz NXT Eternities tokens: a mint pass for Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons. The website to claim it is now live. Find the link below and on our website.

This mint pass is a way of saying "thank you" to all those who have supported Mercedes-Benz NXT from the beginning, and who we want to continue to take with us on our journey. We are truly grateful for your support and look forward to the Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons!

“Maschine” and Mercedes-Benz NXT Eternities tokens are eligible for one mint pass per token. Be aware when purchasing tokens on the secondary market that it will not be visible whether a token has already been used to claim a mint pass.

To claim your mint pass, visit http://nxt.mercedes-benz.com/mintpass. This is the only official link. Connect the wallet which contains the eligible tokens and you will see all of your claimable mint passes. Mint passes need to be claimed one by one and each is a separate blockchain transaction. Please click on “Claim now” to mint one.

You can claim now or sit back, relax, and wait until we reveal more information about Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons. The option to claim will remain open for the duration of this collection until the Dutch auction of the last of the seven eras.

Due to regulatory requirements, only collectors from all EU countries, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, the U.K., the U.S., and Taiwan will be able to claim a mint pass. We are actively working on adding more countries for future activities.
