Let us tell you more about the seven eras of our next core collection, Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons, which act as chapters in our journey through the Mercedes-Benz design heritage. Starting from the present day and going back to the very beginning of automotive history, each era will consist of 2,694 collectibles (Era 7: 2,696), resulting in a total of 18,860 pieces across all seven eras.

Each era of the Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons can be minted through a 90-minute Dutch auction, from the starting price of 1 eth to the resting price of 0.1 eth – or until sold out. If any items remain after the Dutch auction, they will be sold at a fixed price of 0.1 eth. The rebate Dutch auction is open to everyone. In a rebate Dutch auction, all participants pay the same amount.

Holders of a mint pass – which collectors of “Maschine” and Mercedes-Benz NXT Eternities can claim as a "thank you" – can mint for free.

The seven eras showcase remarkable and iconic designs, which are often cultural artifacts. This is the first time they will be available as digital objects and we have closely coordinated the selection with the Mercedes-Benz Museum and with experts from all areas and Mercedes-Benz brands.

“Eras” are a great way of honoring different design highlights in time, even though we recognize that all categorizations are subjective. The names of the eras refer to specific, distinctive, and defining characteristics of Mercedes-Benz products during those respective times.

In the first era, we will showcase current production cars. The first era is called “The Era of Luxury”. Mercedes-Benz has always been known for its pioneering spirit, elegance, and value. Products that stand the test of time. Honoring the past, while always having a visionary eye toward the future. A clear emphasis on shaping culture.

One more thing: If you have a mint pass, you are free to choose which era to use your mint passes for. For example, if you have three mint passes, you can use one during the Dutch auction for the first era and save the other two for later ones.
