"We're out of weed!” G3 announced, her voice echoing through Z8's MXXR Goggles.

"What?" Z8 responded, glancing at the ship's fuel gauge, which verified G3's statement.

"Ah, that weed," he mused, remembering their numerous overspace drive jumps aboard The Heritage Club. The vessel, fueled by a rare agricultural engine, was among only two Z8 had ever come across. The other boasted a sleek design, embellished with vibrant flowers and an oriental aesthetic. Z8 fancied the idea of an elegant geisha girl as the pilot, his ideal partner.

Z8, puzzled by the origin of his name, embraced it nonetheless. Together with G3, an AI assistant programmed to emulate a 17-year-old female (a choice made by G3 herself), they formed a resourceful team. Now, they faced a dire fuel shortage, prompting them to embark on a mission to obtain more Weed of Eternity.

The Weed of Eternity is an extraordinarily scarce and potent plant scattered throughout the multiverse. Its distinct properties render it invaluable for various applications, including powering advanced spacecraft like The Heritage Club. The plant's impressive regenerative abilities have attracted the attention of influential figures and royalty across multiple universes.

Besides its fuel capabilities, the Weed of Eternity has other exceptional uses. Eternitiol, an oil extracted from the plant's seeds, is among the most valuable commodities in numerous multiverses. Its primary application lies in its unparalleled medical properties, swiftly healing both physical and mental wounds with remarkable efficacy.

"Tell me the situation in detail," Z8 urged.

"Here's the breakdown," G3 began, "To operate the engine, we need 8 plants. An overspace drive leap consumes nearly half a plant's lifespan. With 3 plants remaining, we can make 6 more jumps. However, we must allocate 2 plants for standard warp drives, leaving us with 4 overspace jumps. We also have 1 spare seed."

Overspace drives, a multiversal drive technology, facilitate travel across multiple universes. Due to their massive energy requirements, they are generally reserved for larger ships or land-based installations with continuous energy sources.

As Z8 and G3 contemplated their situation, they realized the urgency of replenishing their Weed of Eternity supply. Their remaining plants would barely suffice for their upcoming journey, and they couldn't afford to waste any time.

"Where can we find more of the Weed of Eternity?" Z8 asked G3, hoping she could pinpoint a source.

G3 quickly processed the available data, searching for any clues regarding the whereabouts of the precious plant. "There's a rumor of a hidden garden within the Ystralos Nebula," she said, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "It's said to be a sanctuary for the Weed of Eternity, but the nebula's treacherous conditions have deterred many from attempting to harvest it."

Z8 pondered the risks involved in venturing into the hazardous nebula. Still, the potential reward outweighed the danger. "We don't have much of a choice," he said, determination evident in his voice. "Set a course for the Ystralos Nebula. We'll secure the Weed of Eternity and ensure the survival of The Heritage Club."

G3 acknowledged Z8's command, and as the ship's navigation system plotted their route, a sense of anticipation filled the air. The Heritage Club's crew embarked on their perilous quest, prepared to brave the unknown in their pursuit of the Weed of Eternity.
