Afer Bake N More, the first café in Dubai to accept payments in digital currencies from customers, another Chinese restaurant is now accepting cryptocurrency for its customers - Dubai Oriental Gastronome.
According to the staff: When customers finish their meals, they can scan the payment QR code on the cashier to pay for the bills. The payment can be done fast just by entering the payment amount (in dirhams) with any crypto they choose.
Currently, customers can pay with Bitcoin(BTC), Ethereum(ETH), Tether USDT, and also popular cryptocurrencies such as SHIB, DOGE, etc.
When the payment is made, the system will automatically convert the cryptocurrency paid by the customer to the fiat dirham or stable coin USDT, which can be set by the merhcants to ensure that the store will not be affected by the fluctuation of cryptocurrency prices.
