Today’s public mainnet launch marks a major step forward in Story’s mission to create a programmable market for intellectual property (IP) in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). Starting today, users can begin interacting with Story’s L1 blockchain, and the first wave of rewards are being distributed.

Story is a purpose-built layer 1 blockchain designed specifically for intellectual property. Story allows you to register your IP on the blockchain. This IP could be an image, a song, an RWA, AI training data, or anything in-between !

Example #1: Imagine you're an artist who creates digital paintings, or a musician who makes original songs.
