Title: MetaPassport’s Meta space: Genesis

Date: 17 July 2022. 14:00 UTC

Speaker: Ben (MetaPassport influencer)
Co-host: Luke (NFT enthusiast)
Prize: 5 x MetaPassport Mystery box

Luke:

Can you share a little about yourself with our audience?

Ben:

I am an Asian American who grew up in LA. Went to UC Berkeley for my undergrad major in Economics. My first job out of college was working for one of the largest social game developers in Asia. My role was BD director. After three years working there, the company went through reorganisation. I left and got my MBA. After my Master, I went back and worked for my family business in the Jewellery industry. The way I view jewellery is that jewellery is more than just a community, it is more like an asset. Picking and buying the right gem is the key in this business, it’s kinda very similar compared to picking the right crypto or NFT in the Web 3 world. Because of Covid, I came back to LA about three years ago. Now working closely with the team of MetaPaspport.

Luke:

As you have experienced different fields, it looks like there is a huge jump from Jewellery to web3, so could you tell us how you met MetaPassport?

Ben:

Like many of you guys here, I was always fascinated by new technology. When the idea of Metaverse first came about, I was curious and wanted to find an entry point to this brand new world. Because of my background in the gaming industry, a developer friend made an introduction. And there then, I knew this was my entry point into the Metaverse.

Luke:

Could you tell us a little bit about your role here at MetaPassport?

Ben:

I don’t work for MetaPassport, not on payroll. I am a community influencer. No cool Avatar. I represent the users. But I have a close relationship with the team. I get to conduct weekly meetings with them and get updates so I can present these updates in the AMAs.

Luke:

Since you are the bridge Ben, can you give us a little insight about the team behind MetaPassport?

Ben:

A group of dedicated buidlers. They are all chill. One thing I want to point out is their dedication towards their product which is MetaPassport. Unlike some of the other buidlers, trying to “hit it fast, and hit it hard”. The team at MetaPassport has a long term strategy, their philosophy is that “profit will come with great products.” So they devote all their effort into perfecting their product. A big reason behind is because there is no institutional investor. More freedom and less pressure to turn to profit. Prefect the product.

Luke:

Could you please tell us what you think MetaPassport is in short?

Ben:

Remember this: The first DID in the gaming sector of Web3.

You can think of it as a Steam account in the Web3 gaming world. But more than that, this profile or passport of yours will grow as you grow. It will accumulate achievement value and action value. So the more you use it the more valuable it will become. These will be accomplished through blockchain technology, asset interoperability, and data sovereignty.

Luke:

Ben, Can you share a little bit of that with our users?

Ben:

MetaPassport is an User-Centric product. Soon after launching, we open up the function of credentials to Buidl. This means users will accumulate value through simply using MeatPassport. The value accumulated including but limited to Gaming Assets, Tokens, Whitelist, NFT, and Boosters. All of the above mentioned, we called it credentials to Buidl.

Luke:

Can you please share with us your plans for your NFTs going forward?

Ben:

In the MetaVerse, every user should have their own personality. MetaPassport has prepared a ton of Avatar for users to pick from. There are 22,000 genesis avatars with 4 series. Keep in mind this is a Fair launch project, so it’s fair to all community members.

During the initial launch, we will introduce 12,000 MetaPassport and 22,000 genesis avatars. There are a total of 30 avatars. The avatars are divided into 4 different series: Punk, Year of the Tiger, Rock & Roll, and Chinoiserie (sheen wa zi ree). You have to have a MetaPassport before having Avatars. Not all NFTs are created equal, there are more rare NFTs to be revealed. Keep in mind this is a Fair launch project, so it’s fair to all community members.

Punk: There are 9 unique styles

Year of Tiger: As 2022 is the year of the tiger in the Chinese zodiac or calendar year. There are 6 unique styles & 50 sets of secret editions.

Rock & Roll: This is like Music style avatars, and there are 9 Unique styles.

Chinoiserie: This is a style developed in 17th-18th century Europe, a western interpretation of Chinese style. There are 6 unique styles & 50 sets of secret editions

Here is little bit about Concept Art House (CAH):

Concept Art House was founded in 2007 and headquartered in SF. It has delivered over 1000 games and digital collectibles, like Blizzard, Epic games, Kabam, Marvel, WB, StarWars, UFC, NBA2K, EA, Zynga, Tencent. World of Warcraft, Fortnite, NBA2K18, Hearth Stone, Clash of Clans and so on. From PC to Mobile now to Web3.0, worked with some of the biggest IPs in each category. Concept Art House is the art creator behind MetaPassport, last week when I mentioned the team of MetaPassport is very serious about quality. We only work with the best of the best, which in turn guarantees the success of our DID.

Luke:

When is the mint date?

Ben:
