Nakabitos - migos on Bitcoin.

Nakamigos + Bitcoin = …?

A little preface and introduction. Bitcoin is the new-old meta now. Again.

Let's take it as an axiom.

And. So... Nakamigos! What a phenomenon. As a regular person, I won't sugarcoat things, dear Nakamigos holders, just to promote my Nakabitos project and sell the idea to you. I want to analyze it and share my opinion. I'm curious—what's the secret of Nakamigos? This project has gained immense love from crypto enthusiasts lately, and I agree with it. The project ticks all the right boxes, a reference product in every aspect. It features numerous fantastic traits, and the unified blue background adds a sense of community identity. When the first reaction is to notice the color, it quickly associates the character with a specific community. This factor plays a crucial role in the success of a project in terms of community cohesion because, as we know, the community is the project. Everything relies on faith, which is built upon various factors.

So, Nakabitos is a collective of 10,000 crypto investors with commercial rights, residing within the Bitcoin blockchain, whose primary objective is to unite the Nakamigos and Bitcoin communities. Simultaneously, it endeavors to strengthen cohesion and collaboration among the blue and orange communities, forging a sense of unity and shared purpose in this interconnected ecosystem.

Derivatives have a right to exist. But on one condition.

Yes, we are the derivative of Nakamigos.🔵 Often, individuals who want to join an already successful community find it difficult in the early stages of their crypto journey. The second point is that every derivative must bring something new, a novelty effect, which adds value to the project. And we've identified that value—we aim to bridge two of the most robust communities in the crypto field right now: Nakamigos and Bitcoin! I know for a fact that there are numerous Bitcoin enthusiasts among Nakamigos, and I invite you to participate (and if you're among the first, become the core member) in this newly created community. That's the objective of our project.

Alright, let me reiterate. Our project's goal is to connect the Bitcoin and Nakamigos communities through art.

What the difference?

Originally, I set out to replicate the art of Nakamigos precisely, but along the way, I discovered it was lacking a certain spark. As I said, every derivative needs a touch of novelty. So, let me unveil the exciting divergences between Nakabitos and Nakamigos art. Brace yourself for something fresh!

  • 1. Archetypes:

These are not mere replicas of Nakamigos. You'll find familiar archetypes from the original project, ensuring continuity and consistency. However, we've also introduced new archetypes: Doge and Shiba. Yes, we are the Bitcoin Migos, and our concept revolves around a coin-themed narrative—Pepe, Shiba, Doge—they all play a significant role. By the way, these characters are arranged based on their rarity. So stay vigilant and hope to secure a rare gem when you mint your Nakabitos! P.S. Shiba archetype holds a special rarity! Let's pay homage to the beloved aging dog.

  • 2. A little bit different structure (or just “pixels difference”)

This is something for the keen observers. Delving into the intricacies of Nakabitos art becomes even more intriguing. The same 24x24 artwork, but here's the scoop: Nakabito's body is two pixel smaller than its older sibling. We found this adjustment more aesthetically pleasing and better aligned with the size of the head (which remains unchanged). Additionally, the neck has undergone a transformation—it's now one pixel slimmer, adding a touch of crypto-punk flair. To enhance the contrast, the shadow line under the neck now matches the outline color. These subtle changes bring a fresh vibe to the artwork.

Furthermore, the internal structure of light and shade has undergone slight revisions. While these micro-differences may not be immediately noticeable at first glance, a significant amount of effort has been invested to ensure that these subtle nuances contribute to the overall composition.

Take note of the size and neck adjustments. Additionally, black color has been slightly lightened, adding a subtle nuance to the overall aesthetic.

  • 3. Rarity:

Although you are already acquainted with the aforementioned archetypes, allow me to provide a quick list for reference. The archetypes we have are as follows: middle, deep-toned, albino, alien, bot, frog, croco, doge, silver, shiba (arranged in order of rarity). I'll leave it as a delightful journey for you to explore the precise quantities of each archetype in our collection. However, that's not where the most captivating aspect lies...

Number of attributes. You know, this is my favorite. For some reason, the number of attributes is a more impressive measure of rarity to me than, for example, certain rare archetypes. There's something about the exceptional randomness in it that captivates me. It's not a deliberate choice during the collection-building stage of saying, 'Yes, this one will be rare, I've planned it that way, but this one won't be.' Characters with a high number of attributes or, conversely, with very few attributes appear completely randomly as a result of the program. This is the beauty of generation, and it brings me aesthetic pleasure to witness this enchantment of numbers.

Wow, what a stroke of luck! There's a Nakabito with 10 attributes, and only one left. To be honest, I'm not even sure which number he's assigned to, but if you manage to acquire one, you'll reach the same level of prestige as seedphrase in cryptopunks universe.

  • 4. Traits:

The traits aren't exactly identical to Nakamigos; they have been reworked to showcase the author's unique perspective. This includes subtle variations in colors, shadow hues, the removal of hoodie hoods, and other enhancements. Overall, it results in an improved artistic rendition!

    About ~160 traits in total.

Minting details

You see the article was written six months ago. At that time we launched on Ethereum (idiots, an Ordinals project to launch on Ethereum haha), and the project was not a success. Now we are launching on Bitcoin, as it should be, and I am now rewriting that part of the article.

The launch will be conducted stealthily, without any promotional efforts. There are a couple of reasons for this decision. Firstly, I prefer not to allocate funds towards marketing expenses. Moreover, even if I wanted to promote the project, I am uncertain about the right channels to effectively attract a larger audience. Secondly, I aim to avoid generating excessive hype prematurely, only to experience a decline in interest later on. Instead, I want the project's lifecycle to commence with the minting phase, allowing people to discover it organically. I believe in letting the project speak for itself, without any artificial or manufactured excitement. People can learn about the project when it already exists, and its value will be determined by the market as individuals buy and resell the items.

You can inscribe them for a price of 0.00018 BTC each.
