Minting of Reddit collectable avatars reaches an all-time high
On Saturday, 3 December 2022, a record number of Reddit Collectible Avatars were minted —nearly 255,000 —beating the previous high of 200,000 on 30 August and 31 August.
Since Reddit started selling the collection earlier this year, more than 4.4 million have been produced.
Reddit's proprietary cryptocurrency wallet, Vault, which enables users to collect community points based on the blockchain and spend them on in-app features like badges, is where users may store and manage Collectible Avatars.
The Twitter Files
The Twitter Files are a series of Twitter threads based on internal Twitter, Inc. documents shared by owner Elon Musk with freelance journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss in December 2022. Taibbi and Weiss coordinated the release of the documents with Twitter management.
Hints about "Twitter Coin" revealed by a tech security expert
Twitter could be moving more swiftly towards incorporating cryptocurrency payments and, potentially, a native coin. In a now-deleted tweet, security researcher Jane Manchun Wong posted code she had discovered for a vector graphic of a "Twitter Coin." Wong also uploaded a picture of Twitter's "Tips" feature's "Coins" section.
Porsche launches NFT collection
Porsche debuted its first collection of non-fungible tokens and developed a brand experience in the digital realm during Art Basel in Miami (NFT). The initiative is a new component of our digitisation plan, according to Lutz Meschke, deputy chairman and member of the executive board for finance and IT. Allowlist registration starts on 20 December 2022, and goes until 6 January 2023.
