Global Pizza Party 2023

On May 22, PizzaDAO organised the world's largest pizza party to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day. Over 100 events from +75 countries distributed FREE pizza funded by the revenue from PizzaDAO's Rare Pizzas project. The project features 10,000 generative baked pizza NFTs created by topping artists worldwide.

Notable PizzaDAO supporters include Cheech and Chong, Seth Green, Steve Aoki, Tony Gemignani, Time Pieces, Collab.land, WGMI, Ownthedoge and the NounsDAO, which will also raise charity funds. The party occurred in various locations worldwide, including London, Paris, Buenos Aires, Sydney, Vancouver, Tokyo and New York.

PizzaDAO aims to use blockchain technology to support small businesses and create locally-focused communities. Since its establishment, the project has connected over 400 pizzerias and communities and provided over $500,000 worth of free pizza. Bitcoin Pizza Day commemorates Laszlo Hanyecz's historic purchase of two large pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins in 2010, now valued at around $290 million.

Ledger's Recovery Tool Sparks Security Concerns

The brand allows its community to vote on the products that go into production, with the first product being the Pretty Nail Graffiti nail polish. Users can vote on potential colours, and loyalty points are earned for voting, which can be redeemed as discounts when their voted colour is available for sale. KIKI World plans to introduce on-chain features in the future, allowing customers to select and own beauty product attributes. The brand aims to offer interactive and playful experiences informed by the latest technology while serving basic needs in the beauty industry.

Axie Infinity crypto game gains approval for Apple's App Store

Sky Mavis, the creator of the popular play-to-earn crypto game Axie Infinity, has announced that its latest version, "Axie Infinity: Origins," will be available for download on Apple's App Store. Initially launching in select countries across Latin America and Southeast Asia, the move is seen as a step towards broader adoption of web3 gaming.
