Spheron is revolutionizing the way you utilize your GPU resources by connecting them to a decentralized network. Spheron allows you to easily lease powerful GPU resources from a vast network of providers worldwide. With Spheron, underutilized GPU hardware can now become a valuable asset, enabling providers to monetize their idle resources while ensuring maximum utilization.
Today we'll look at the simple process of installing a Spheron CPU node.
Minimum Specs
4 CPUS
8 GB RAM
100 GB Storage
Maximum Specs
32 CPU
128 GB RAM
2000 GB Storage
First we need ETH in the Arbitrum Sepolia test network
Go to https://www.alchemy.com/faucets/arbitrum-sepolia and request $ETH test tokens in the Arbitrum Sepolia network.
Create a new EVM wallet (empty), send there test ETH in Arbitrum Sepolia network
Go to https://spheron-devnet-eth.bridge.caldera.xyz/ and bridge ETH from the Arbitrum network to the Spheron network. To do this, use the new wallet we created earlier.
Go to https://fizz.spheron.network/ and connect our new EVM wallet that holds ETH in the Spheron network.
Click on Register New Fizz Node
I will be installing a node on a Linux OS
Select the Linux network
At the bottom of the CPU Node
Enter your hardware
Select the server region, in my case it is Germany
Congratulations, your node is now active and will earn FN points
We're in phase two now. In which you and I earn FN points with our node. We also got the NFT Lunar Fizzer. What does all this mean and what is it for? Yes, it's exactly what you might be thinking. FN points is one of the main criteria for getting Airdrop, which will be at the launch of Mainnet or sooner! I note the fact that the Spheron team has confirmed the launch and Airdrop in $SPHN tokens!
