If you’ve read our previous post you’re already familiar with the NNS, and you probably know that we’re celebrating our first 7 weeks after launch.
Now, you might be wondering what we have been able to accomplish in this time frame.
So, here’s a snapshot of the current milestones:

Exciting, right? Well, this is just the beginning.
There’s an extremely important date you won’t wanna miss: 19 October 2022.
That’s right, 10 days from today. What will happen then?
On 19 October 2022, the ENS reservation period will end and the NNS will officially be open to the public.
This means that everyone, not just .eth holders, will be able to claim their .⌐◨-◨.
So in these 10 days, only .eth holders will be able to claim their .⌐◨-◨.
And this is where our First Squad Mission comes in.
What’s the goal of the Mission?
Your role as a Squad member will give you the opportunity to:

Help as many ENS holders as you can to claim their .⌐◨-◨ name before the 19 October.

Enjoy rewards from more than 10 nounish projects and spread the word about them.

Update your Twitter name with .⌐◨-◨ and climb this leaderboard.
Our goal as a Squad will be to nounify the world, proliferating the .⌐◨-◨ and the nounish culture.
Help other ENS holders
The Squad Members are the core of the NNS, and what makes the NNS special.
Our community is everything to us, which is why we postponed the public launch to give every ENS holder in the Nouniverse the opportunity not to lose their .⌐◨-◨ names.
As an NNS Squad Member, you’ll find ways to spread the word to as many ENS holders as you can. Talk to a friend, share the news in your community, invite people to join the raffles and literally anything else you can think of.

We mentioned that the goal of the Mission (and of our Squad Members) is to nounify the world.
Well, what better way than to show the whole space what the Nouniverse is capable of?
In the coming weeks, our frens @ultrasoundmoney will help us keep track of the proliferation of the .⌐◨-◨ on their Twitter Leaderboard.
Yes, this will go beyond the 10 days of the Mission, but aren’t you also looking forward to finding out how much we can proliferate the .⌐◨-◨ ?
The leaderboard will track all the users who are using the .⌐◨-◨ domain in their Twitter name or bio and will be the main consultation tool of the NNS Squad.

How to take part in the Mission?
To take part in the Mission, you’ll have to officially become a Squad Member, by:
These two simple steps will officially recognize you as a Squad Member.
Every other step you’ll take in proving your worth as a Squad Member will be entirely up to you and absolutely not mandatory.
This means that it won’t influence your ability to win the raffled rewards in any way.
We don’t want you to feel like you have to “earn” your rewards, you’ll have the possibility of winning them just by supporting the project and joining the Mission.
Of course, it will be up to you how big a role you will play in the proliferation of the NNS and the nounish culture.

We’re putting our everything in this Mission, as proven by what is probably the most valuable reward and our biggest challenge: The NNS Squad Treasury.

50% of all the revenues made during the NNS Mission will be used to create an experimental Treasury for the NNS Squad.
This Treasury will be used to reward members, ideas and finance new missions.
