After a successful DAO ratification vote the Nodle DAO foundation proposes to improve the #1 most requested change for the Nodle Network: Tokenomics.
With the DAO fully live on-chain, we present Nodle Governance Proposal NGP002: Nodle Tokenomics V3
The Proposal is now live for review on GitHub, and every NODL holder has the chance to shape the future of the network. Share your comments on the Github Discussions tab and on Telegram or Discord, we want to hear from you.
The Nodle Governance Proposal (NGP002) introduces a significant update to the Nodle Network’s tokenomics, transitioning from an inflationary to a disinflationary model based on burning mechanisms and network usage. This new structure aims to reduce the total supply of NODL over time (depending on network adoption), while introducing new reward mechanisms, and enhance token utility across multiple on-chain applications.
Key changes include:
Burning mechanism tied to network services.
A shift to reward active and verified users.
A DAO (already voted live) that will oversee and refine the tokenomics as the network grows.
This proposal is designed to address challenges in the current Nodle tokenomics by introducing a more sustainable and user-aligned model. The new disinflationary approach aims to reduce the NODL supply over time as usage and adoption increase, aligning the incentives of the network participants.
Bringing services on-chain means more decentralization and greater security for everyone involved.
Voting is simple. First, update your Nodle App to the latest version. Then, visit the proposal on Snapshot here: Vote Now on Snapshot
