About the Collection:

-Classic Traits Re-imagined & New, Never before Seen

-DarkNOUNs pulls inspiration from the classic NounsDAO traits while introducing some new traits and some that have never been featured in a Nouns collection. Some highlights include:

• A mix of classic Nouns traits, now darkened and twisted to fit the post-apocalyptic world of DarkNOUNs.

• Some Yellow Collective, flipped a bit, thanks to the legendary Toady Hawk, expanding on the Nounish ecosystem.

• Completely original, never-before-seen traits that bring fresh elements to the Nouns universe—some of them dark, some of them a little based. From Sneakerheads to those who find DickButts embedded into their very being.

-Unique Lore & Backstories

Every DarkNOUN comes with its own unique name and backstory, expanding upon the larger lore of the collection. Each NFT isn’t just a piece of art—it’s a character with a role in the Blackout on Base. read the full Lore HERE!

This storytelling element adds depth to the collection, allowing collectors to connect with their DarkNOUNs on a level beyond aesthetics. Whether it’s a former scientist turned scavenger or a relic of a lost civilization, each piece has a history waiting to be uncovered.

DarkNOUNs is about creativity, collaboration, and community. The collection includes 65 1/1s from over 40 Artists including legendary and highly respected names like Numo, BrettDrawsStuff, GulaManYOW, Traf, Filter8, Amir Karimi, FattyButHappy, and many, many more.

Each of these pieces represents a unique take on NOUNS, bringing together some of the most talented artists in the space to contribute their vision to the collection.

- Honoraries

The collection also features 53 honorary DarkNOUNs. These are dedicated to individuals and collections. Some of these are people that have supported me and/or given advice, inspired me to create, and some are just very BASED. Apologies if I missed anyone. I’ve been working hard to get this out after I saw many get abstracted, ahem…distracted, thinking the grass was greener outside of Base.

Many of the Honorary pieces will have a prize attached. Some come with an NFT but many will come with your favorite Base tokens.

Examples…mint the Honorary Base Punk and receive a Based Toad by Traf. Mint the Tiny Dino NOUN and receive an Onchain Dino. Tokens being sent out will include: $TYBG, $NOGS, $TOSHI, $VEIL, $TN100X, $AIXBT and more!
