Flix Fam! Hop on to Community Update #67- your gateway to the freshest updates from the Flixverse! Our last week has been very eventful and we are building up to some pretty big reveals in the coming weeks.
Without further ado, let’s dive in.
1) Protocol Engineering

Last week, OmniFlix Hub prop. 15 passed and the OmniFlix Hub underwent a smooth upgrade introducing PFM (Packet Forward Middleware), ICA, gas optimizations for the Interact-to-Claim module and code refactoring as required.

Apart from this, the protocol team is currently focused on the v47 upgrade along with getting the infrastructure ready for some major upcoming implementations.

2) Application Engineering

Last week, the application engineering team was focused on the deployment of the upcoming version of OmniFlix TV with videos now being published right from OmniFlix Studio.

Once the staging version of OmniFlix TV is tested internally, the same will be rolled out to various creators and their communities on September 11th (target launch date for OmniFlix.tv). Details of the first version and everything you need to know will be announced in the days leading up to the launch.

The application engineering team is also focused on a white-labeled implementation of OmniFlix TV for a major partner, details of which will be released soon.
3) Governance
3.1) OmniFlix Hub v0.12.x Upgrade Successful
Fam, we're celebrating yet another successful upgrade to OmniFlix Hub with 79.3% voting turnout! A big thanks to our diligent Flix Node Hosts who ensured a smooth transition.
The latest features are impressive: the activation of the Packet Forward Middleware (PFM), courtesy of the brilliant team at Strangelove Labs; the introduction of ICA, which brings host capabilities to the fore; an enhanced gas optimization for our Interact-to-Claim (ITC) module; and notable code optimizations that make the Hub more efficient than ever. Here's to pushing boundaries in the #Flixverse!
Below are governance proposals that were voted on by the OmniFlix Network validator as a part of the operations while validating the below chains/networks.

There was a proposal from Comdex chain that we missed voting. We will be streamlining operations even more from a governance standpoint.
