1) Everything we’re building

1.1) OmniFlix Hub Upgrades

• OmniFlix Hub v3 upgrade is successfully implemented, leading to the integration of CosmWasm. This is a pivotal moment for the Flix Fam, and it opens so many            doors for the Interchain Media Hub that the team is building.

• OmniFlix Hub v2.1 upgrade successfully implemented brining features like enhanced oNFT queries, StreamPay fees, Collection-based royalty splits and this was mostly in prep. for the v3 upgrade that happened later in the month.

Thank you to our community of Validators & Node Hosts for their support and participating in the governance & upgrade.

1.2) Engineering Integration, Updates & Fixes

While the team has been shipping important upgrades and features, they also worked on resolving ongoing issues, bringing in wallet integrations and ensuring the smooth functioning of apps.

• Ethereum / Metamask users can now access AksahEDU.OmniFlix.tv via Metamask Snaps, powered by Leap Wallet

• Updated OmniFlix.Market for Ledger users (hardware wallet). The update enables Leap to work better with SDK v0.47.x -- do try it out with your ledger too!

• App node version updates & router navigation fixes are now live on http://flix.OmniFlix.co

• Updating the indexer to work with CosmWasm on OmniFlix Hub (this is a work in progress activity and will continue during March 2024 too!)

• Enabled splits information for auctions in both OmniFlix.Studio & OmniFlix.Market for clearer transaction details.

2) News from The Flixverse

2.1) Celebrated OmniFlix 2 year Mainnet-versary

Flix Fam and Cosmos celebrated the 2 year mainnet-versary of OmniFlix on 22-2-24. This marks a big milestone in a long journey of building the Interchain Media Hub in Cosmos.

A big shoutout to all our partner projects, creators, contributors, validators, Node Hosts and member of the FlixFam for their continued support.

2.2) Growing numbers of learners on Akash EDU

Just one month post-launch, Akash EDU is attracting learners eager to explore Decentralized Cloud Computing via Akash Network. To date, over 360+ Course Access NFTs have been issued, with participants earning certificate NFTs for course completions as follows:

• Intro to Praetor: 150

2.3) Image-based interaction campaign

The "Know Your Cosmos" (KYC) campaign, launched by FlixFanatics with our new image-based interactions, is sparking excitement in the Cosmos community.

Participants engaged with interactive videos, selecting the correct image options to score points and win from a share of the 2000 $FLIX reward pool. With over 70 participants and 5.9k total interactions, the campaign features key Cosmos projects:

3) Ecosystem Updates

3.1) OmniFlix at Archway Rodeo Cosmos Roundup

The Flixverse reached ETH Denver too, supporting and being a part of Archway Rodeo Cosmos Roundup along with Chorus One, Contango and Andromeda.

3.2) Apello Integration on OmniFlix

#FLIXProp 30 for Apello integration successfully passed thanks to the participation of the community.

This integration aims to improve the NFT Experience for Creators & Community with features including Token Gating, Enhanced NFT discoverability, Trading volume leaderboard, Continuous Discord support & more.

3.3) OmniFlix part of Passage.io open source committee

Thrilled to join the open source committee of Passage, collaborating with other remarkable projects within the Cosmos ecosystem.

3.4) FlixTalk IRL in HYD ft Jacob Gadikian from Notional

After an year, the Flix Fam had the opportunity to have another episode of FlixTalk IRL, now ft. Jacob from Notional, Valentin repping PostHuman Validator & lot of curious web3 enthusiasts & members of the FlixFam.
