Hey Flix Fam! Brace yourselves because Community Update #71 is here, and we are overflowing with exhilarating news, fresh updates, and so much more, right from the epicenter of the Flixverse. So, gear up and let's get right into the heart of all the buzz👇

1) Protocol Engineering

  • The core contributors continued to work on the migration from the Cosmos SDK v45 to Cosmos SDK v47. We expect the same to conclude by the end of October.

  • The LSM module was explored last week as well considering the Cosmos Hub upgrade

  • Work on the OmniFlix Media Node continues and will see increased progress this week with the potential to be released for internal testing.

2) Application Engineering

  • From an application engineering standpoint, the team were focused on Metamask Snaps along with everything else.

    • Good news is that, Metamask is now integrated on OmniFlix Market (and is being tested)

    • The portal for TEDxHyderabad Ticket NFTs went live (can add about Sponsor Drops of these happen)

  • With respect to OmniFlix TV, quite a lot has been shipped:

    • Metamask Snaps integration on OmniFlix TV

    • Released the Manage Channel feature on the OmniFlix Studio

    • Updated the ability to export participants of a single interactive video within OmniFlix Studio

    • On Studio, Disabled the ability to edit interactions after the Interactive Video is published

    • Updated OmniFlix TV with minor UI/UX updates to better enhance the experience

3) Ecosystem Updates

3.1) Conversations with Jack S3 Ep. 4 ft. Jonathan Caras from Levana Protocol

Sistla Abhishek represented OmniFlix at the recent Blockchained India meetup in Hyderabad, sharing insights on Axelar Network, OmniFlix's role in the evolving creator space in web3 & more.
