Flix Fam, here are all the updates from last week and the focus for this week, within the Flixverse! We have had a great start to this week with the deployment & ongoing success of the Interchain Media NFT campaign, and good progress on other projects we are working on.

Without further ado, let’s dive in.

1] Engineering

a) Protocol Engineering

  • The Protocol Team took a break to help accelerate the efforts on the Interchain Roundup NFT while also gathering the details for planning ahead.

b) StreamSwap Protocol Updates

This week’s updates to the StreamSwap development involved discussions around kill switch along with incentivization/penalization mechanisms for spam prevention and others.

The plan for the current week is to gather the details and complete the requirements associated with the Grant, the testnet and more.

b) Application Engineering

  • The team was focused on getting the Interchain Roundup NFT up and running with 10,400+ NFTs minted at the time of writing.

  • This was an excellent demonstration and testing (in prod.) for the media-tech that was developed by the core teams contributing to OmniFlix.

2] Design & Media Updates

  • The design team at OmniFlix have been working on updates pertaining to #Interchain Media NFTs templates and marketing collateral.

  • Progress on design revamp for OmniFlix TV & OmniFlix Studio continues.

  • The team is also simultaneously contributing to design improvements for the upcoming Akash EDU Academy pages and collaterals.

Below are governance proposals that were voted on by the OmniFlix Network validator as a part of the operations while validating the below chains/networks.

4] Community Updates

4.1) Events & Highlights

a) Interchain Roundup NFT

The OmniFlix team launched Interchain Roundup NFT, a personalized video NFT that provides a roundup of users on-chain data on chains Osmosis (June 2021 onwards) and OmniFlix & Stargaze (from March 2022 onwards). Users can see their swap degeneracy, track their NFT creations and total owned assets across networks, and immortalize their journey within the Cosmos ecosystem.

So far, over 3600 unique have generated #InterchainRoundupNFTs within two days 🔥

b) AMA OmniFlix X JunoApes

Ahead of the launch of JunoApes on OmniFlix Market, members of Flix Fanatics and Flix Crew joined for the engaging community of JunoApes who shared details about their journey so far, idea behind building the NFT collection and community and what lies in the roadmap for new JunoApes to be excited about.

4.2) OmniFlix TV

a) StakeEasy - New Interactive Video Quest

StakeEasy is back at it with another Interactive video. The rules are simple: Connect your Keplr Wallet, Watch the video to learn more about Liquid Staking by StakeEasy & answer the questions correctly.

b) #InTheStudio ep. 34 POP

#InTheStudio is a creator space, held every Friday with the creator community of OmniFlix Network. Participants of the space are eligible to claim a proof of participation NFT by answering a secret phase announced during the space.

4.3) Activities by Flix Fanatics

Focus for the current week

Fam, there was good progress last week and this week too it’ll be heads down building before we can get to further releases. The focus for this week across various teams are:

1) Protocol Engineering

  • The focus for the team was primarily around planning for the Interchain Roundup NFT and the preparation involved in the launch.

  • The team also made progress with respect to the planning of details around StreamSwap and NFT Pools on OmniFlix.

2) Application Engineering

  • A part of the team focused on the Interchain Roundup NFT continued through the week.

  • Another part of the team worked on OmniFlix Studio and related partner apps to update the experience.

This week’s feature release now includes the ability for the transfer of Collections (or denom when you consider the technical jargon)

3) Design

  • This week’s work is focused on updating the experiences of OmniFlix Studio and OmniFlix TV along with the mobile apps.

4) Media

  • For the coming week, Media team will be focusing on building required collaterals for Akash EDU Academy hosted on OmniFlix Network, How-to focused walkthrough content for our users & community and marketing collaterals about OmniFlix Apps.

5) Community

  • We had an amazing last week with Flix Talk #52 where details of the community updates, #Interchain Roundup NFT Campaign and progress towards StreamSwap were discussed.

  • The InTheStudio #35 episode featured Creators & Collections by - @Juno_Apes, @BrilliantartNFT, @kaluginpn & @deliciousarui who have recently launched new collections on OmniFlix Market. The creators talked about their collections, their experience using OmniFlix Apps and what’s on their roadmap.

  • Discover new collections, hear from our Creators and learn how they are using OmniFlix Apps to build their community on #InTheStudio space (every Friday, 2pm UTC). Catch the latest updates about what the Flix Crew is building on FlixTalk (every Wednesday, 2pm UTC).
