Flix Fam, without further ado, let’s dive right into updates from last week and all that’s coming this week!

0] Update on FlixNet-4

The FlixNet-4 testnet campaign is now completed and we’ve had massive response. A total of over 16,000 participants have interacted with the testnet apps. Participants are eligible for receiving an NFT, as mentioned in the announcement post (i.e. user accounts that complete all 6 activities and top 10 accounts in two categories).

More information will be shared in an independent article in subsequent weeks.

Shoutout and thank you to our FlixNet-4 validators and mainnet validators/relayers/node hosts that are securing the network and keeping it all running extremely smooth!

1] Engineering

  • On the protocol side of activity, we worked on and have a pre-release version of the updated binary ready for testing by node hosts, developers and related stakeholders.

  • Efforts on CosmWasm and StreamSwap simulation also continue. We had good progress in the last week and will keep the entire community updated as and when possible.

  • Application Engineering teams focused on updating the apps and further optimizing current operations. Some inSync apps have been updated last week with more being updated this week.

2] Design & Media Updates

2a) Product Design

  • The focus has been on OmniFlix Market whose design updates will be worked on and deployed in the next two weeks.

  • The team has also also worked on taking user feedback for the latest version of OmniFlix TV that’s being designed. These will be worked on and deployed in the next 4 weeks considering the roll out of updates within OmniFlix Market. 2b) Media

  • We have been working on creatives that present the products and give the community an overview of all that’s being worked on at OmniFlix.

  • The creatives for partners (i..e creators, events & communities) is also underway and more information on the campaign will be shared in subsequent weeks.

4] Community Updates

4.1) OmniFlix TV

a) #InTheStudio Ep 25 POAP

#InThestudio is a creator space which is held every Friday with the creator community of OmniFlix Network, participants of the space are eligible to claim a proof of attendance NFT by answering a secret phase announced during the space.

b) FlixQuest 3rd Nov 2022

Every Thursday Flix Fanatics conduct a FlixQuest which runs through out a week, the winners of the quest are announced on the next Thursday followed by an other quest. Participants of the quests are rewarded by NFTs minted on OmniFlix.Market

  • Creator AMAs - Our first Creator AMA featured @Ns_JNR, creator of Interplanetary Battle Cards, an NFT Trading Card Game.   • FlixTalk #43 & #InTheStudio ep 25 was all about discussing FlixNet-4, progress by Flix Crew on upgrading other OmniFlix Apps and New NFT Collections and Drops.

5.1) Upcoming Collections

a) Cosmoverse 2022 Patron NFT - Patron NFTs (To be launched)

For all those who have attended Cosmoverse 2022 event at Medellin, Colombia and booked event tickets using OmniFlix’s ticketing interface will be able to claim the Cosmoverse 2022 Patron NFT.

This is a special NFT being offered to or given only to the folks that are a part of the event and The NFT can be claimed using the same email address which was used to book event tickets right on cosmoverse.OmniFlix.co - details of the NFT will soon be released.

OmniFlix also supported Cosmoverse 2022 with media programming and seamless broadcasting infrastructure which powered live broadcasting of event to various channels in different languages without any downtime. Check the videos on OmniFlix YouTube channel here 👇

b) Clans of Cosmos - PFP NFTs (To be launched)

Clans of Cosmos would be the next collection of CosmoCapes collection on OmniFlix.Market. This PFP collection will not only be dropped NFTs holders of their previous collection and the Creators, butalso working on a NFT giveaway for the community members.

5.2) Recently Launched

a) Women from Cosmos special - Art NFTs (Recently minted)

Women from Cosmos special collection on OmniFlix recently ran a contest for their community on Halloween and have minted few of their community NFTs in their collection.

b) Special Cosmic Droids - Collectible NFTs (Recently launched)

The holders of Cosmic Droids NFTs were dropped Special Cosmic Drops NFTs, with the art work of a droid & two pets.

c) WildPass Badge - Collectible NFTs (Recently launched)

Creators of WildFlix v1.0 collection have dropped non transferable WildPass NFTs to their community members upon participating in an education interactive video on Elephants launched on alpha.OmniFlix.Tv

These NFTs have various utilities for their WIldFlix v1.0 collection holders and upcoming WildFlix TV.

d) Seilor NFTs - Collectible NFTs (Recently launched)

We received a great response from Sei Network community on the interactive video launched on alpha.OmniFlix.TV. Participants who answered all the questions accurately were dropped Seilor soul-bound NFTs.

Focus for the current week

1) Protocol Engineering

  • This week’s priority is primarily on planning the release of auctions on mainnet.

  • On a protocol level, the focus is also around planning of the interact-to-claim module, including the addition of a fee to create collections on the OmniFlix Hub.

  • Efforts on CosmWasm and StreamSwap simulations continue.

2) Application Engineering

  • The team has decided to focus on deploying the latest updates to inSync this week.

  • Enterprise implementations with Studios and Record Labels also continue.

3) Design

  • The focus for the week is on updates to the campaigns module on OmniFlix Market.

  • The other priority is also to ensure progress on User Research for interactive video modules, NFT-gated content consumption, etc. within OmniFlix TV and OmniFlix Studio.

4) Media

  • This week’s creatives and media production are focused on activities for partners and product-marketing.

  • Other community centric creatives are also being worked on this week for additional marketing and awareness of all that exists within the FlixVerse.
