Particle was born with the vision to be the People's museum. The people have formed and are organizing under the ParticleDAO banner to acquire and manage humanity's great works of art. This DAO is the lifeblood of the Particle ecosystem. It energizes and invigorates the vision of the movement.
That vision is simple but profound. To be the library of Alexandria of fine art. ParticleDAO will do this by leveraging the largest curation force in history: a globally distributed community. Our first purchase christened this vision with the acquisition of Banksy’s Love is in the Air. This purchase, along with its associated NFT token (The LIITA), will act as the springboard and foundation for further development.
With the LIITA token, the DAO has built a governance system, collaboration space, and community treasury. We have defined the DAO and organized all of its members with this token. On this basis, we will expand the collection and the DAOs governance rights over those works.
By leveraging Web3 dynamics and tooling and our deep connections with the traditional art world, we will do the impossible. We aim to be the leading physical art collector DAO. This is no small task. This will entail immense engineering and legal innovation. We can do this, but to do so, we need to:
