Here in the Stacyverse, we are constantly engaged with the NFT ecosystem. It is important to keep up with what’s new, what works, and what is absolutely useless in this fast-moving environment. To ensure the best possible minting experience for our community, we are dedicated to providing a fair and equitable approach. Part of this process is to be as transparent as we can possibly be about how we are doing things here.

We are not here to re-invent the wheel, though we are all about moving away from existing pitfalls and historically problematic approaches. It is important to innovate, and that oftentimes means repurposing existing technologies and methodologies. Following is our multi-step approach to minting your Pillhead NFTs this June.

All dates for minting will be shared in late May. We are actively watching market conditions, and ensuring we provide the most beneficial timelines for our community.

Minting Mechanics

To mitigate any stressful situations during the minting process, we have split up minting into multiple tiers: Happy List & Public Raffle. Our total supply across all sales will be 6,655 Pillhead NFTs.

Happylist

Our Happylist is the equivalent of what is traditionally called a ‘White List’ in the NFT space. It is essentially a pre-sale access list. Once you are on this list, you can mint prior to public minting being made available, which means you can avoid potential gas wars, and be guaranteed mints.

Happylist submission deadline: June 10th 01:00PM ET

Mint date: June 16th 4:20PM ET // Pre-sale

Price of minting during this period is 0.1 $ETH. 

To qualify for a spot on the Primary Happy List, you can follow one of a few different paths.

• If you hold ANY past Stacyverse tokens, you are eligible. This means if you hold a Stacy Pills (Series I or II) NFT, you are in. If you hold a 1/1 from CFW on Foundation, you are in. There are a number of collections from CFW on Rarible or Opensea that will qualify you as well.
  Find the official list of eligible collections in our discord under Mint info.
• If you win a spot from a curated brand partnership, you are eligible. Keep an eye on Twitter for #PillheadsNFT to catch these from other projects. We will be working with multiple reputable projects and artists to offer up multiple HL spots.
• If you are active and paying attention on our Discord server, you will find a variety of opportunities pop up randomly that will offer up HL spots. All you have to do is stay engaged.

Public Raffle

As an added bonus, we will have a public raffle system through premint.xyz. Once you enter your wallet into the raffle, you will have the chance to win a spot in this randomly selected list.

Additionally, any unused HL spots after the initial pre-sale period will be added to this number. Previous HL members who missed their window to mint, will not be able to mint during this secondary pre-sale period.

Public Sale

Public sales will begin after Happy List, and Raffle sales are over. At this stage, anybody will be able to mint a Pillhead. Any remaining tokens unminted during HL and Raffle sales will be released for anybody to mint.

Mint date: June 19th 4:20PM ET // Standard sale

Price of minting during this period is 0.14 $ETH. 

Reveal Mechanics

We have been greatly discouraged by past reveal periods with multiple reputable projects after bots and shady parties have tanked floors prior to reveals. To avoid this eventuality, we have decided to adopt a method that Vitalik has referred to as Soulbound.

Essentially, we will be locking all pre-sale (Happy List and Raffle) NFTs for secondary sales, until all NFTs are revealed.This way, any secondary market listing and selling of pre-sale items will not be speculative.

We are aware that we will be locking out holders out of selling their assets for a period of time, and we are confident that this method serves the best interests of our community and for all of our holders. We are understanding and supportive of anybody that is here to flip an NFT, but we are here to prioritize the interests of our long-term supporters and holders in our community first and foremost.

We want to communicate this very clearly so there is no misunderstanding, and so that nobody is surprised that they cannot list their pre-sale Pillhead NFTs prior to reveal:

All NFTs minted during pre-sale (Happy List & Raffle) will be SOULBOUND: You will not be able to list and sell them prior to reveal.
