Donate on Gitcoin and Potentially Qualify for Huge Airdrops! 🎉

Gitcoin is a blockchain-based platform that allows you to support and fund open-source projects in the crypto space. By donating to these projects, you not only help them grow but also have the opportunity to qualify for big airdrops potentially. These airdrops can provide you with valuable tokens that could appreciate in value over time.

In fact, Gitcoin donators were recently airdropped with Optimism tokens, a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum. This is just one example of the exciting opportunities that Gitcoin donors have access to. By supporting suitable projects, you can potentially earn valuable tokens while contributing to the crypto space's growth and development.

🛡️ Before donating, make sure to get your Gitcoin Passport ready.

Gitcoin Passport is an identity aggregator that helps you build a digital identifier showcasing your unique humanity. Select the verification stamps you'd like to connect to start building your passport. The more verifications you have, the stronger your passport will be.

Make sure to get at least 20 points to be able to donate.

So here is the list of projects I’m donating to:

âś… Web3 Open Source Software (Optimism)

#1 Punk Domains

Punk Domains is a Web3 Social names protocol.

It allows any DAO or web3 community to issue Web3 Social usernames. These names can then be used in decentralized social networks or chats as usernames and identities for community members.

#2 Via Protocol

Via Protocol is a cross-chain liquidity aggregation protocol designed to create fast, efficient and seamless swapping experiences across different blockchains.

#3 Lenstube

Lenstube is an open-source web3 video-sharing social media platform built on top of Lens protocol and live on Polygon mainnet.

#4 Revoke.cash

revoke.cash allows you to inspect all the contracts you've approved to spend money on your behalf, and revoke their access for the ones you no longer need.

#5 Sybil-scorer

Sybil-scorer is a Python package that provides developers and sybil slayers with a range of tools for analyzing the behavior of addresses.

The package was started during the Data Builder Hackathon in January 2023. The main goal was to develop legos that can be easily reused by anyone to analyze and fight sybils on the blockchain.

#6 JediSwap

JediSwap is the first permissionless composable AMM on Starknet. Users can swap assets instantaneously with zero gas fees without losing custody of their funds. JediSwap is led by the Mesh community.

#7 Lenster

Lenster is an open-source composable, decentralized, and permissionless social media web app built with Lens Protocol.

#8 Metamail

MetaMail is a web3 email provider. With MetaMail users use a wallet/ENS as an email address (e.g. suneal.eth@mmail.ink), and sign/encrypt to ensure security.

MetaMail is compatible with other mail like Gmail. All those features are totally free, with no gas fee.

#9 Loanshark

Loanshark is an aggregation and automation platform for DeFi borrowing. They are building Loanshark Core, the first lending protocol with isolated pools on Scroll.

#10 Rough Ticket

Rouge Ticket is a decentralized, permissionless and open-source event management solution. Currently deployed on Arbitrum Nova (and a few testnets).

#11 Umbra

Umbra is a protocol for stealth payments on EVM blockchain networks. It enables privacy-preserving transactions where the receiver's identity is only known to the sender and receiver.

âś… Climate round (Optimism)

#1 Earthist

Earthist Network is a mission-driven project initiated in 2019, focusing on preserving heirloom seeds and promoting regenerative hemp farming. Earthist Network combines natural farming with modern technology, aiming to create micro-processing centres for small and family hemp farmers, further bolstering regional economies and seed preservation efforts.

#2 Silvi

Silvi is contributing to the trillion tree target by building financial and coordination tools for hyperlocal reforestation.

Silvi is collateralizing the net present value of New Trees. Further, tree investments are low-risk instruments because they are performance-based payouts dependent on verifiable milestones.

âś… Web3 Community and Education (Optimism)

#1 yAcademy

yAcademy fellowships are trial-by-fire auditing programs where fellows shadow-audit alongside experienced auditors. The audited codebases are typically pre-deployment production-ready.

Anyone can apply to join the fellowships. A vetting process comprised of assessment exams and technical interviews is implemented by the core team of yAcademy to ensure fellows have the technical skills to catch up quickly and learn. Prior experience in Solidity/Vyper/ZK is not required, however.

#2 Ethereum Colombia DAO

Ethereum Colombia DAO is a community that is trying to organize hosting diverse educational events between local nodes in the different regions of Colombia.

Ethereum Colombia DAO works towards the Local and all Spanish-speaking communities, trying to raise the adoption and development of Web3 technologies for the public good.

âś… Ethereum Infrastructure (PGN Public Goods Network)

#1 EthStaker

EthStaker is a welcoming first, knowledgeable second community dedicated to supporting Ethereans in safely and securely staking their ETH by creating guides, instructional videos, educational content and technical support.

#2 L2BEAT

L2BEAT is a dedicated analytics and research platform for Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) scaling solutions. With an unwavering commitment to transparency, L2BEAT strives to offer a thorough comparison of diverse Ethereum L2 systems, aiming to enlighten and empower the community with unbiased insights.

#3 Protocol Guild

Direct funding for Ethereum protocol maintainers! A collective of 143 Ethereum core contributors working together to enable commons infra funding

#4 Iron Wallet

Iron is an Ethereum wallet built with developer experience as its primary goal.

Iron is building a wallet from the ground up, to rethink some core features, and to embed easy access to a set of powerful tools that can vastly improve the developer experience, both when writing smart contracts, and when building dApps to interact with those contracts.

#5 eth.limo

eth.limo is a privacy-preserving ENS gateway, enabling users to access Ethereum-native dApps and content. LIMO represents a shift in dweb adoption by providing an alternative means of accessing ENS resolvable domains.

#6 INTMAX

INTMAX is the first stateless zkRollup, which shifts data availability (DA) and computation to the client side, providing extreme scalability and privacy to Ethereum.

In addition to this, the stateless architecture allows for the democratization of block generation and interoperability. This could signify the beginning of truly convenient decentralized payments.

#7 Lighthouse

Lighthouse is an Ethereum consensus-layer client. Lighthouse provides a stable, performant and open-source implementation which is relied upon by a significant portion of the Ethereum network.
