We are pleased to announce the seventh cohort of Prezenti Grants. It continues to be extremely exciting to see projects old and new thriving in the Celo ecosystem. Here is a rundown of the latest projects to sign contracts with us.
We have funded a total of 43 projects since opening in mid-October 2022 and have had over 142 applications!
This is the forth group of grants that have been funded since our second Celo governance proposal. While applications are currently closed, stay tuned for an additional post soon about what has been achieved by us, by the amazing grantees and the future of Prezenti.
Kryha aims to build a corporate carbon wallet via Account Abstraction (EIP-4337) using the Safe Account Abstraction SDK. More specifically, the Safe Auth Kit and Safe Protocol Kit. The focus will be implementing account abstraction to build a non-custodial wallet that abstracts most of the (currently) poor web3 experience away from the user. They plan to do this by implementing an SSO functionality by which the user can log in, and recover its credentials keys via a well-known path, the corporate SSO. The account recovery feature will allow users to recover their wallet access rights with a new password that they’ve set via their SSO provider. Via this grant they hope to build an Admin functionality, allowing the institution to add and remove delegated wallet users. User accounts can be simple email addresses used for SSO.
CreDA (Credit Data Alliance) is the first trusted decentralized credit rating service that models on-chain and traditional data linked to a secure personal decentralized identity to create a universal credibility score for Web3. This grant will enable the deployment of CreDA Credit Scores and Elastos DID solution on Celo.
A wallet for non crypto people, aka the metamask for the rest of us.
Objective for this funding is to enable any community to offer their members a wallet dedicated to their token on the Celo blockchain. Citizen Wallet aims to deliver a progressive web app and a native iOS and Android app that people can use to receive any ERC20 tokens on CELO using account abstraction so that a 3rd party (typically the token issuer) can subsidize the gas fees and the end user doesn’t need to worry about it.
Congratulations to our previous grantee Alcancia for securing funding and moving full steam ahead! You can learn more about it here
