I’ve been pretty vocal about my respect for Kendrick Lamar as an artist, creator, and entrepreneur--I’m still bumping Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers (and all of this albums) regularly. As he’s moved on from his TDE days to his creative collective pgLang, I’ve been paying attention to everything the new company puts out. The majority of the production so far has been music videos of Kendrick, Baby Keem, and Tanna Leone (all artists signed to pgLang) along with a couple of commercials and shorts like this one for CashApp:
It’s been a minute since I’ve come here to write about building PRST and it wasn’t for lack of good reason. In the last month and a half I’ve focused my energy on the PRST podcast channel, creating a financial “coaching” membership (to be announced in January 2023), and hosting the very first PRST Collective.
Jay Shetty is a former monk who left the monk path and took what he learned to inspire others to practice mindfulness, find purpose and meaning in their lives, and develop a Monk Mindset. His book, Think Like A Monk, was instrumental in me pursuing to build PRST into a bigger brand and strengthened my understanding of mindfulness, the practice of meditation, and pushed me further a long my spiritual journey.
Above is the current roadmap for PRST. I’ve removed future parts of the brand since they are not active and as much as I love sharing the entire vision, I want to focus on the present and allow the brand to grow into the missing components. I’ve been diving into Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now and I am focusing on creating/building for the enjoyment of the process and allowing PRST BE what it is supposed to be…grow as it is supposed to grow.
