The Public Good Africa Grant Safe(multi-sig) wallet is the cornerstone of our commitment to transparency, security, and collaborative decision-making in the administration of grant funds. This wallet is the epicenter where all contributions earmarked for grant purposes are securely held and managed.
Our vision for the Public Good Africa Grant Multi-sig Wallet is to foster a high level of integrity and mutual accountability in the allocation of our resources. By utilizing a multi-signature (multi-sig) approach, we ensure that fund disbursements are not only secure but also democratically governed by a diverse group of trusted community members and stakeholders.
A multi-sig wallet requires multiple parties to agree on a transaction before it can be executed. This means no single individual has unilateral control over the funds, aligning perfectly with our ethos of collective responsibility. Each transaction from the wallet, primarily for grant funding, must be approved by a predetermined number of signers, ensuring a balanced and transparent decision-making process.
The Public Good Africa Grant Safe is currently available on 4 major blockchains. All Safes have a 4 out of 7 signer policy.
