On the Path to Frictionless Collaboration

Our journey has always been driven by a clear vision and mission - to make collaboration frictionless and to grow the collaboration economy by providing frictionless payment infrastructure.

Last year, we announced our Phase 1 by rolling out the first version of the Reveel protocol. We focused on automating complex revenue sharing by releasing the first protocol that could execute recoupments, waterfalls, splits, and many more types of revenue-sharing logic, all within a single, gas-efficient smart contract.

During the past few months, we’ve demonstrated that the creator economy was much in need our a solution like ours. We’ve automated revenue sharing & payouts for leading artists & collectives like Black Dave, Sammy Arriaga, Rae Isla, Aluna & Diplo, and we’ve partnered with pioneering brands like Colors Studio, NVAK Collective, Pixelynx (Animoca Brands), and Polygon, to name a few.

With thousands of users and over 2 million users on our waitlist, we are excited to start our transition to Phase 2, shifting our focus from “Automating Complex Revenue Sharing” to “Facilitating Access to the Onchain Economy.”

Reveel Phase 2: Facilitating Access to the Onchain Economy

Our overarching goal for Phase 2 is to provide simpler tech, easier access to earning, and a seamless onboarding experience to web3. In order to do that, we’re launching several updates & new products.

Here is what’s new:

The Reveel Protocol V2

Building on our previous version, Reveel Protocol V2 offers a more accessible experience and enhanced revenue-sharing capabilities. Some of the standout features include:

• Dynamic Payouts: Users can now automate complex revenue share agreements that evolve and execute accounting & fund distributions throughout the entire lifecycle of the project.

• Gasless Experience: We understand the challenges new collaborators face in the web3 ecosystem. V2 introduces a gas-free experience, simplifying the withdrawal process.

• Gas Optimized Contracts: Our new contracts are designed for maximum efficiency, reducing gas costs.

• Multi Chain/ Multi Token: V2 will be available on multiple chains, starting with Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, and Base. Our multi-token contracts can handle various accounting logic for different tokens.

Introducing Numo

Numo is our answer to helping the next wave of creators access the onchain economy. Our aim with Numo is to open the door to web3 for millions of creators, by offering an onchain account that's simple to use yet super secure.

Numo is rolling out in alpha very soon… We’re excited to be offering exclusive access to a select group of top creators. In the coming weeks, we will also be granting alpha access to the top of our waitlist.

R3VL SDK V2

Alongside our application, we are making the Reveel Protocol V2 available to developers through the R3VL SDK V2. This means that builders & developers can now harness the power of the Reveel payment infrastructure and add gas-free payout functionalities into their dApps in just a few minutes.

We’ll be rolling out the R3VL SDK V2 very soon and we’ll be announcing the winners of our V2 Bounty Program.

Phase 2 in Action

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been piloting Reveel Protocol V2 with some exciting projects.

• Generative AI Voice Blend Collaboration: We've partnered with Controlla to create a voice AI model blending the voices of leading Web3 artists. This new type of collaboration allowed 14 musicians to generate new voices and create a song, “Now I Feel It” which was released on Zora, on the Base network. The revenue from this drop will be divided among the artists and writers using Reveel’s gasless payout on Base

  Controlla Voice helps artists sing anything in any language or style to unleash the full potential of their voice. We’re building an ecosystem to help artists monetize new formats of interactive and remixable music.

• Gas-free payouts for the wavGAME: The Reveel protocol allowed artists and teams involved in the project to receive fair compensation while creating a transparent relationship with their audience. Through the wavGAME, music enthusiasts could collect real-life wavROOM performances, trade collectibles, and connect deeply with their favorite artists, culminating in an exclusive one-on-one live concert opportunity.

• Sound of Fracture community co-creation: Sound of Fractures created a token with the goal of involving his community & sharing revenue with token holders in return for participating and contributing to his projects. The Sound of Fractures Token will now offer collectors who contribute by buying the token during the project window to share 50/50 in the onchain net profits of the project Scenes, with the other 50% going to a Sound of Fractures treasury. All of this is automatically executed by a Reveel Revenue Path. See article for more info.
