Eight weeks ago, we introduced the Reveel Protocol with the goal of helping Web3 creators share on-chain earnings in a trustless, fair & efficient way. Since then, we have helped redistribute earnings to hundreds of creators, including Grammy winning producers, top-tier record labels, and leading crypto native artists.
The Reveel Protocol allows anyone to deploy a revenue share smart contract that will automatically share the funds that are sent to it between the addresses listed as recipients. It was the first to enable complex revenue sharing agreements to be executed fully on-chain, by combining percentage splits & Tiers.
Today, we’re announcing two important updates to our protocol. Welcome Protocol v1.1.
Tiers now work for ERC20 tokens.
NFT Creators usually have primaries in a set token (i.ee ETH on Ethereum), but secondary transactions can occur using various tokens: wETH, USDC, DAI… so we made sure a Revenue Path can handle ETH & ERC20s, to allow creators to set up a revenue sharing logic for all of the earnings from a collection, no matter in which token these earnings are generated.
Furthermore, a single Tiers can have different limits for various tokens, so no matter which token you earn you can be sure to have your revenue share accurately with collaborators. This eliminates the need to create different Revenue Paths for each token and allows user to set specific distributions for each token, in a single Revenue Path.
The Reveel Protocol is now available on multiple networks.
Starting today, we’re rolling out the Reveel Protocol v1.1 on Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Aurora.
The protocol is also deployed to the respective test networks.
Dig in deeper in our Docs.
Creators can deploy their own Revenue Paths and start using the Reveel Protocol v1.1 on the Reveel app.
Developers can use the protocol to power their own applications with advanced revenue sharing and creator payout features. The code is available in our public repo.
