WGMI is finding our stride! Here’s what went down in July.
We’ve put payments for almost all contributors on pause momentarily. This moves us from LFG, the LFTG (Let’s Thoughtfully F*cking Go). This is not permanent. Payments will resume payments after we get the serviceDAO spinning and bringing in more revenue.
We received another grant from MetaCartel (10,000 wXDAI)💸, and Matt has injected more capital into the treasury to help get us over the hump. 🙏
As always if you want to follow the multisig balances or transactions you can find that data here: (0x23AA3040596Fd1c60BE0FC2f481258515c4Aa1A7) and WGMIcommunity.ETH and you can do so on Zapper.fi, Zerion, or Debank.
We’ll be spinning up new circles for a few of our guilds this month. These circles will be used to track contributions to the guild, and will run monthly.
When we have green light for compensation to resume well start using these results to compensate the amazing work that’s been done.

Matt was invited to a retreat hosted by MetaCartel at the DAO Palace where leaders from across the DAO space came to help refine and improve their plans for the future their building. We had the privilege to hear from 🧠’s on the optimal way to structure our DAO that will help inform our DAO’s design from governance structure to Tokenomics.
An IRL bus full of DAO Experts who will be going to the people, and helping onboard people into web3. If we want to make it we have to get real people on the bus. More details to come!
A conference focused on DAO’s. This will be attended by ~600 people with the goal of coordinating around how we can tune DAO’s to find their stride. WGMI will be on site and helping crush Moloch.
We have the forum back online! There are no active proposals at this time, but if you have ideas for how we can make WGMI better draft up a proposal for us here! (Be sure to use the template!)
For most of the last year we’ve been stuck in an awkward place. WGMI didn’t start to become a DAO, it started (nearly a year ago 👀) to help a few community managers in web3 get better.
As time went on though we quickly saw the need for WGMI to transform into a DAO. One of the reasons it hasn’t happened yet has been analysis paralysis. There are so many options to create a DAO! This is awesome… and overwhelming.
What are the implications of making a bad first decision? Fortunately, we’ve got 0xjustice who has been spearheading our DAO formation for months and has a solution for us.
It’s called Minimum Viable DAO (MVD). The goal of MVD is to take small iterative steps. Right now, we’re having monthly community calls, and weekly council sessions. We’re building a community Github handbook. We’ll be launching a DAOhaus moloch dao next week to house our governance activities which will be driven by discussions that take place on our renewed governance forum. After that is completed we’ll begin onboarding people into the DAO and continue building a community that puts the WE in web3. We’ll do this by falling into the infinite WGMI loop.
If you’d like to know more about MVD or want to get involved reach out to 0xJustice.eth in the discord
If you’ve noticed an increase in productivity in WGMI you can probably blame Addie.
Catch you on the flip side WGMI! Until then, keep putting the WE in web3!
