As always, our mission at the Rekt Gang DAO is to take care of the community that has experienced the unpleasant side of crypto and got ‘’Rekt’’. To do so, we want to address knowledge gaps and pain points of Web3 adoption. Therefore, our focus for Q1 2023 will be threefold:

1) Quest platform

2) Multi-chain experience

3) Education

We believe that these three initiatives are addressing significant issues within the current NFT market and will greatly benefit both the Rekt Gang community and the broader Web3 community.

Quest Platform

With the help of our frens at MintDAO, we have built out a platform that connects NFT communities to Web3 products.

It differentiates by adopting a focused approach instead of the current ‘’spray and pray’’ model. Highly curated Web3 communities (NFT PFPs) are leveraged to elevate a Web3 protocol by creating engagement, bringing adoption and providing meaningful interactions with the protocol. Think “Galxe” and “Crew3” combined with the power of NFT communities.

The platform is fully built out, and we are in the process of solidifying partnerships with Web3 products and NFT communities that synergize together.

Our mission at Rekt Gang is always to bring education and awareness to the crypto community. We believe this fits perfectly with our vision and are hoping that it can be eventually another source of revenue for the DAO (no promises).

Multi-chain experience

We are excited to announce that holders of Rekt Wolf NFTs will have the option to bridge across EVM chains by the end of the month. A huge thanks to our frens at MintDAO and our frens at Axelar for the massive technical achievement.

We wanted to enable bridging for a reason and a purpose. The timing of this activation is due to 2 new utilities for your Rekt Wolf NFTs on the Polygon blockchain (to be announced). Hence, you will be able to play in the Webb(R) metaverse with your Rekt Wolf on Ethereum, and then bridge to Polygon to explore these new utilities, and come back to Ethereum if you wish.

For Rekt Bulls, you will be able to bridge to EVMs and other Axelar-enabled Cosmos chains by the end of Q1 (this is Axelar’s approximate timeline).

Education

As this is our core mission, we are working very hard on streamlining all the educational resources and content that comes out of the Rekt Gang’s Knowledge Hub.

In addition, the new Rekt-Pedia twitter account by Bill is meant to focus heavily on educational threads.

We are also bringing back our ‘‘will you mint?’’ poll and reviews for upcoming NFT projects.

This is our main focus for Q1, but we have plenty of surprises including some new merch and unannounced collabs!
