Mint Partners - MintDAO and Axelar

We’ve partnered with the incredible team at MintDAO to develop a custom minting experience. MintDAO has innovated in the Terra NFT space with token generating NFTs, and more recently on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) with the 1st cross-chain NFTs powered by Axelar. They are dev magicians and they have the track record to prove it.

We’ll be using Axelar as our cross-chain communication protocol. You may be familiar with axlUSDC, the stablecoin used on many Cosmos chains. We’re excited to become pioneers in the Cosmos NFT space by being the 1st Cross-Chain Cosmos NFTs powered by Axelar.

Mint Chain - Juno Network

The Rekt Bulls mint will happen on the Juno Network, and you will be able to bridge to different Cosmos chains afterwards.

Why Juno?

The Rekt Gang’s core values are aligned with those of Juno network : permissionless, focused on interchain and DAO oriented. We love what Juno stands for and see them shining brightly in the Cosmos, both now and in the future.

Outside of vision and values, Juno has several technical advantages which fit our needs:

• Minting and trading in a stablecoin (axlUSDC)

• Ease of implementing cross-chain bridging

• Ease of implementing complex smart contract functions such as burn, delayed reveal, and others.

• Fully functional DAO tooling (DA0DA0)

• Presence of an NFT marketplaces (LOOP, Hoppers)

Marketplace Partners - Loop

We will be listing the Rekt Bulls on the Loop Marketplace. The teams at Levana and Tradooors opened the marketplace, and we see a lot of potential for Loop. Trait filtering is expected to be implemented soon, and many UI/UX improvements are coming.

Allowlist Process

• Allowlist (whitelist) only for holders of a Rekt Wolf and/or Trippy Wolf during Snapshot on September 30th at 20:00 UTC, as well as a few select Cosmos communities.

• Dynamic supply adjusted to demand where you can ‘‘burn’’ your WL to decrease supply.

  Example : You hold 5 Rekt Wolves, and 3 Trippy Wolves. You are allowed to mint 8 Rekt Bulls, but you intend to only mint 3 Rekt Bulls. You can decide to ‘‘burn’’ 5 WLs which will reduce the final supply of the Rekt Bulls collection. In addition, you will be entered in a raffle to win a Rekt Bull NFT.

• Mint cost will be TBD, but will depend on Dynamic supply and market conditions. Our promise is it will be in the 2 digits and significantly lower than current Rekt Wolf and Trippy Wolves floor prices.

Reveal Process - On Demand

Another innovation we’re bringing to the Juno Network is an “on demand” reveal process. You will be minting a fun animated barn NFT (picture below). You can then choose to either open the barn and reveal the Rekt Bull, or not. Once the Barn is open and your bull is revealed, you cannot close it (metadata is locked and that is your bull). This creates an interesting gamification opportunity where you will have the choice to open the barn and reveal a bull (might be rare or common) or trade the unrevealed barn (just like an unopened pack of cards).
