1st community led NFT collection - Puffy Gang

To vanquish the Torero you must grow up into a strong and fearless Bull. Growing up means a lot things, included some hair in unusual places…

Your challenge is to mint 42 Puffy Gang NFTs as a decentralized collective. This will become the 1st EVER decentralized NFT collection by an NFT DAO. From art to mint!

Sounds exciting, let’s break it down into steps

Step 1: create the Art as a DAO

Within Rekt Gang DAO we have some very talented people that can do pixel art, AI art, Photoshop masters, or even memers using paint and powerpoint.

You will start with the Puffy base below, and can do whatever you want with it! Remix, create a meme, transform it using AI. Your imagination is the limit.

We recommend you discuss ideas in the ‘’El Torero’’ channel in Rekt Gang’s Discord. This collection will represent you as a community, so let your imagination go crazy. 42 unique works must be provided.

Step 2: mint the Art as DAO

A unique feature of Juno is the ability to mint NFT collections as a DAO. That’s right, you can vote as a collective what you would like to mint and the smart contract takes care of the rest! How to below, please start at step :

1. Create a new proposal on Rekt Gang’s page. Link below

2. Populate the proposal and add an action

3. Select the Mint NFT action

4. This has been done for you already, and you don’t need to do it. Vote yes on Proposal A5. (Create a new collection by populating the appropriate fields and click on Create.)

5. Once the collection is created, you will receive a new collection address that you can use for the next steps. The Puffy Gang collection address is : juno1760pxl2s5dtnn882lxsdpsrlzxj20lvh4njqwxwxctdl57fpn6pstv3z4c

6. Upload your artwork and populate the fields. Make sure the collection address is : juno1760pxl2s5dtnn882lxsdpsrlzxj20lvh4njqwxwxctdl57fpn6pstv3z4c

The 1st NFT is called Puffy Gang #1 (in proposal A5), you can continue sequentially until #42.

7. You can mint from 8 to 16 NFTs at a time on DAODAO, so you can repeat steps 2 to 6 several times in order to minimize the amount of proposals.

Conditions and tips to win the challenge

• All 42 NFTs must have unique artworks (can be a simple change of background, but they cannot be duplicates).

• You have 7 days to complete the task, keep in mind that voting on the proposal will take 3 days. Deadline is Feb 19th 23:00 UTC.

• All 42 NFTs must be under the same collection address: juno1760pxl2s5dtnn882lxsdpsrlzxj20lvh4njqwxwxctdl57fpn6pstv3z4c.

• You do not have to mint all 42 NFTs under the same proposal. You can pass multiple proposal to complete the mint process (as long as you’re always using the same collection address).

• Use any tool you like, the styles can be as eclectic as you want.
