We optimize human coordination through open-source projects by building public goods. In the first half of 2024, we've been busy enhancing governance mechanisms and securing ENS scalability.
One of our main goals has been to improve governance within DAOs. We tackled a major delegate power imbalance risk in the ENS DAO by introducing a veto proposer role and setting up a Security Council. This move has made the DAO much more resilient against potential threats.
We've broadened our service provider network through some key partnerships:
Ethereum Name Service (ENS): Selected for the "Streams for Service Providers" program, receiving annual funding.
Shutter DAO: Chosen as the development house on retainer to provide ongoing support for the Shutter Network.
As the official ENS service provider, Blockful is dedicated to improving the ENS ecosystem and supporting its expansion. We have secured grants to scale ENS on both Optimism and Arbitrum.
By reducing gas fees and subsidizing initial user onboarding costs, we aim to make ENS more accessible to a wider audience.
We've been actively involved in the web3 community, sharing our insights and knowledge through talks, workshops, and panel discussions at major events:
Our team has been making waves in the hackathon circuit, presenting innovative solutions and earning top spots in several competitions:
ETH Samba: We clinched a win with AI Delegate, designed to participate in DAO governance and enhance decision-making.
ETH Belgrade: Our project DAOgram impressed the judges, offering a novel approach to DAO communication and coordination.
ETHGlobal Brussels: We won with Liquid Delegate, enabling ARB to WARB wrapping, revenue sharing, and extra liquidity removal rewards.
Our product lineup keeps getting better with ongoing work on the following:
Our work is grounded in open-source principles and a commitment to public goods. We actively contribute to the ecosystem beyond development, including governance and community building. We look forward to sharing more updates on our progress in the coming months.
